Communication with the host was almost immediate and they were very helpful. Comfortabke beds allowed for great rest and the garage kept the 2 grandkids entertained.

This was the perfect get away. Our group of 10 people had an amazing time. The game room was our favorite. Ashley checked in with us to make sure everything was going great. Great host for a great getaway. We didn't want to leave.

Vacation to FISH

The fishing was decent but the stay was BETTER!! We loved this property so much. We had age ranges from 4, 9, 11, 17, and adults/grandparents; EVERYONE was in hog heaven over the property. Relaxing and wonderful, well equipped, and convenient. Would come back time and time again! Thank you, Cedar Ridge Hideaway :)

Family stay

Set back in a very private location. Clean and lots of games around for kids. It was a great weekend stay for the family. Set up was unique. The decor was impressive. The host responded to emails quickly. Will definitely stay again. Didn't even feel like i was in the town we live in.

Nice property, plenty of room. The AC was a real issue though!! The house temp was well over 80 degrees!!we were unable to get it cooled down. The AC unit ran continuously.

Fantastic Place to Relax

My family of 9 rented this cabin for a mini vacation. We very much enjoyed ALL the space. It was nice to eat meals together but have plenty of space to relax also. We loved the hot tub and used every night. We especially loved the private location and there was room for our three vehicles and two boats. THANK YOU, ASHLEY!

Family Weekend for 12 people

This property was amazingly for our family. It was an old A Frame house with lots of room additions. This was a 5 bedroom house. It is not your traditional house set up so there is plenty of space to spread out. Perfect for if you want to be with others or some alone time. We spent a great deal of time on the outdoor porch, in the huge hottub and in the three stall garage that was turned into a game room. You will not be bored. There are three refrigerators which was amazing for all the drinks and food.You are 5 minutes to the town of Yanton to get anything you would need as well as an amazing beach recreational area.The house was stocked with all the essentials!Thank you for an amazing house for our family get together! Hope to visit again

Quirky Charm

Cedar Ridge Hideaway is indeed a secluded private getaway— with three separate living areas for our family to spread out. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. We spent time in the hot tub, the game room, and sitting in front of the fireplace. We brought our boat and the marina/boat launch was just a few miles away. The only other living creatures we saw while we were there were rabbits, deer, and lots of turkeys! The house has lots of steps and different levels. If someone in your party has mobility issues that could be a problem. The only other issue was cell phone and internet reception was spotty for us while we were there. The house is full of interesting spaces and decorating surprises! We would definitely stay there again.

This place was amazing. Every family member on this visit said this place was the BEST rental choice we ever had!
