Just had the best experience in playa and this home was just about perfect in every way. Ivonne and her team Filli and Lilly were so great with recommendations and were very responsive. Everything was clean and went smoothly. The home is fantastic but we spent most of our time on the roof which is spectacular. 10/10 would recommend. Planning next years trip already. Such a great place with a great host!

Ivonne and Fili were awesome. We miss them already. The house is so nice but the roof top is extraordinary. The beach is very close to the house. Our kids were able to walk back and forth safely. The area was great to walk to the mall and shop or grab dinner.

Fall break

The staff was very attentive and cordial. Having housekeeping and pool service is usually a perk you don’t get with other vacation rentals. It was an added perk to our stay. The house is wonderfully clean and modern. The beach is a small walk two or three houses down the neighborhood and can be seen from the house.

This is a fantastic property in a perfect location: steps from the beach, safe neighborhood, and close to restaurants and shops. The rooftop patio and pool are incredible. The property manager took great care of us, and we would love to come back here again!

Beautiful, recently renovated villa

My husband, kids and friends with 2 kids recently had the pleasure of staying for a week at this beautiful residence. The location is excellent, close to everything (minutes to the beach and a short walk to town) but the area is quiet and well kept. The house is beautiful, has recently been renovated with a real attention to detail. The concierge was friendly, responsive and very helpful. Frequent housekeeping, the gorgeous rooftop terrace and the added services (organized our shuttle, stocked the fridge, meal service and babysitting) made the stay luxurious. Exquisitely Renovated with a Fantastic Rooftop!

I have been traveling to Playa for many years with family and friends and we stay at this place every time. The recent renovation is phenomenal and incredibly accommodating. Ladies loved the size of the bathrooms, and the rooftop is perfect for long lounge sessions, day and night. The size and location of this place makes it ideal for just about any type of group.

We had a great time at the villa. The pictures are very accurate. The house is very clean with high quality linens, dishes, etc. Ivonne and Fili were very nice and helpful. We found some great places to eat and drink. We are already talking about going back!

Break from work

I stayed at pescada blanca with my kids for a short from work and despite the rainy days, the house gave us the comfort and refuge for some relaxing days. Check-in process was smooth and responses from the property manager we’re almost instant. I would definately book another stay here.

This casa has it all, rooftop pool, close to 5th Avenue, close to the beach. Walk to everything. The house is in a private neighborhood that has 24/7 security at the entrance and roaming about the whole community on motorcycles and bikes. Ivonne the concierge was very helpful and directed us to the best places to eat.

Casa de la Pescada Blanca - The Best There is

We had such a wonderful time staying at Casa de la Pescada Blanca (Pescada Blanca as it's affectionately known). The house is exactly as described and had everything we needed for cooking and activities. It felt more like a home than a rental. It's steps to the beach and a short walk to town. Ivonne, the concierge, was very attentive and helped with any transportation we needed. Lili and Fili were also very attentive at keeping the house clean and making sure the pools were clean and everything else worked perfectly. The owners were also very helpful during the reservation process. We would, without a doubt, stay again at this house.

Great house with a great location!

Two families fit perfectly. Private property in gated community. Felt very safe at all times. The pools were awesome! Ivonne and Fili were super helpful and available. The Maria’s, cooking service, was _amazing_! Made the trip more relaxed and enjoyable. Only negative was sadly the seaweed on the beach, obviously not their fault, just wish the Playcar folks cleaned it up, and the Wi-Fi that kept dropping. Otherwise an amazing place and great services and amenities! Thanks for a great vacation week!

This was our first visit to the area and we can't wait to come back! The house was perfect for our 3 adult children, my husband, and I. Ivonne was soooo helpful. We had Dos Marias come back a few times, they were so good. The beds were comfy, the rooms are spacious, and the AC worked great! The location in playacar was ideal. We easily walked to 5th Ave., the ferry to Cozumel, and restaurants. The rooftop deck was our favorite gathering spot in the evenings. This is the reason we don't stay in AI hotels. The house provided the relaxed family time that I was hoping for.

Looking forward to renting again!

My wife and I spent a week with her siblings and their children a few weeks ago. The age span was from 4 to 66 and everyone had a great time at this perfect location. Some spent their days at the beach only a 100 yards from our front door while others enjoyed the house pool. Walking into town on the beach or the quiet road was a breeze. It's located in Playacar 1 and very safe, quiet and beautiful. The house has everything you might need from beach toys to great maid service. If you decide to rent this house the owner will give you all the information you need to have a great time. If you've never been to Playa del Carmen try it you'll love it. It's my favorite area that we've been to in Mexico.

My wife and I stayed at this house with 2 other couples in Spring of 2012 and we had such a great time that when my wife and her friends were going away for a girls weekend we immediately thought of this place. We contacted the owners and they were amazing like usual. This house is spectacular and the pictures speak for themselves, but the best part is the attention that the owners provide you to make sure your stay is 100% taken care. Emails answered on time, etc. I have stayed at countless properties I have found on vrbo, but these are by far the best owners. You will not be disappointed at all. I have already sent the link to a friend thinking of going in July.....

Close to the beach & town

Casa Pescado Blanco is a great home for a large family or two families. We loved it because we were able to spend time on the beach or by the pool. The pool is bigger than the pictures show but it is very deep and not ideal for small kids. There is a shallow area but it drops off and has very little pool deck. This is the only part I didn't love about the house. The 3rd floor roof deck was perfect for windy afternoons when the beach was too cool. It was also great for evening cocktails and stargazing. The kitchen is adequate for cooking small meals but isn't the best for large meals. The beds were comfortable which can be an issue in Mexico! The bathrooms were also very nice. The owner and caretaker were both very helpful to us. Being within walking distance to both the beach and town is a must for us and this house is perfect for both. They also have the best beach chairs and beach toys.

PERFECTION!!!

Oh goodness! How to summarize?! Wonderful property manager--Ivonne communicated with me from the time of booking to check-out! She went above and beyond. She even helped us order pizza one night, and also helped us look for a local photographer. The property was spectacular! There were 7 of us, including my husband and children and their spouses. Everyone loved their rooms, the closets, bedding, decorations, etc. They were very accommodating in every way. We had clean towels, blankets, swimming/beach toys and chairs. There was housekeeping every other day of the entire house, which, did I mention is HUGE?! So much space for all of us!! 2 pools, including one on the spacious deck, and included an outdoor kitchen and lots of lounge chairs and spaces. Perfect for a large group! I could write for days about how much we enjoyed everything about the property, the beach, which was steps away, shopping, also steps away, etc. All in all this was a vacation full of wonderful memories! We had an amazing stay at Pescado Blanca. The location in Playa Car is perfect. Easy walk to town, beach literally outside your door. The house was great for our family. There were 4 couples and two toddlers, 16 months and 28 months. Everyone had there own room. I liked the set up with the three bedrooms downstairs and the one bedroom upstairs on the main level. The large living space worked out great for all of us. Plenty of room for the kids to play and the kitchen was part of this space which made cooking easy. The roof top deck is the winner. We spent most of our time hanging out on the roof, in the pool and enjoying the view. The downstairs pool was much bigger and a very fun place for all of us to cool off. It was very hot while we were there, so having great air conditioning made a huge difference. Ivonne and Philly were very helpful, they greeted us with a big welcome when we arrived. Ivonne, helped us arrange for a cook for two nights. What a treat, Norma and her team made us delicious mexican food. I highly recommend doing this for at least one night. The one thing I would say is that there are a lot of stairs, which can be a little difficult for older people and young children. All in all we had a great experience and would highly recommend this property.

2 beautiful master suites and large kitchen

Lots of room for my family of 3 . Very clean and decorated beautifully. Love both pools. Rooftop and bottom main pool late morning. Very close to the beach with a peak of a view but super close to walk to. We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing I would change is how much maintenance came without us knowing. They would just walk in almost every day and we would have no idea that they were there until we would just see them walking up the stairs. We felt that we didn’t have privacy and most times I was in my bathing suit sometimes walking out of the bedroom and surprised with a man or men walking in. We just expected more privacy for expensive as it was. We felt like they were keeping an eye out for us to make sure we were taking care of there place. Maid came 3 times a week to clean which we thought was obsessive because there was just the 3 of us and my 3 pound service dog. Otherwise everything else was awesome and we would return again but I would want to know when maintenance was coming to work on something. Rooms and bathrooms were great. There was a few hippcups but all in all it was a fantastic place to stay and enjoy ourselves with family. We have over 30 properties ourselves that we do long term rental with,so I wanted to give my honest review. It can be extremely challenging and stressful with tenants so my husband and I do a lot of vacations when we can. This was our first trip to Mexico bringing my youngest daughter so it was a special trip for us.

Nothing Short of Amazing

The number of five star reviews this home has received over the course of 10 years speaks volumes. You can read through each one or you can just book it. There's not much I can say that everyone else hasn't already commented on, so I'll just highlight a few of my favorite things. 1) Scott and his team are very easy to work with from initial inquiry to check-out. Veronica, with Bric, met us at the house upon arrival to show us around and was there when we departed to say goodbye. Scott also provided us his driver's information for private transportation to and from the airport. I highly suggest using this service. 2) I emailed Bric a list of groceries about a week before our trip and the refrigerator and pantry were stocked when we arrived. I've never had that done for me before and it was overwhelmingly appreciated. We simply paid for the groceries and left a tip. (Don't forget to ask for a bag of ice.) 3) It's a very short and easy walk to the beach and all the action on 5th Ave. This really comes in handy if you don't have a car and want to venture out. We're from TX where it's always hot and humid, but Mexico has us beat, hands down. Now, the most important part... 4) The rooftop patio makes this house, in my opinion. We spent hours and hours just lounging in the pool, staring at the ocean. There's plenty of seating, a BBQ pit, a large, cushioned "bed" for a quick nap and a restroom. There's really no reason to leave! In closing, I'd like to thank Scott, Veronica and the rest of the crew for an amazing week. We needed it and were sad to leave. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this upscale rental in the PDC area. We don't normally rent vacation homes more than once, but there's a few on our shortlist that we'd visit again and this is definitely one of them.

Many years ago we fell in love with Playa and couldn't stop coming back! We bought the house as a family vacation spot and have seen our kids grow up here.

But the casa has also "grown up" with us... We gave it a complete remodel in late 2014 from its original hacienda-ish style. Since then, we've made continual improvements. More recently (late 2023), we've given it a more complete "extreme luxury" remodel. We certainly enjoy it and know your family will as well.

Playacar Fase 1 is the nicest neighborhood in Playa. It's as safe and secure as it gets, it's tranquil and without traffic.

The gate-guarded neighborhood so you do not have the normal beach traffic. it's regularly patrolled day and night so people cannot get into our neighborhood unless they belong there.

The great location of Playacar leaves no need to have a rental car... And, the prime location of our house on the north end of Playacar puts most of Playa's Quinta Avenida (5th Avenue) only a short walk away (8 mins).

Playa (and the region) is very multi-cultural. People say it's the "least Mexican town in Mexico." We only say that because Spanish is just one of many languages spoken here.... We LOVE Mexican culture and enjoy it throughout the area. The cuisine is incredibly diverse also. The 5th Avenue pedestrian mall brings it all together and really slows things down, keeping the downtown experience more like a village.
