Best fishing in Louisiana. Bring your own boat to fish on your own or you can charter one of the many fishing guides in the area. Fishing and hunting camp. One bedroom, one bath with nice kitchen and living room. Sleeps 6 in beds. Free access to boat back-down ramp and fish cleaning area. You can leave your boat in the water right next to the camp.

Host was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for the stay. Communication was top notch! The lodge is perfect for staying in while hunting or fishing in Hopedale. Definitely recommend.

We were looking for a shady comfortable spot in the area to fish & crab with my 9 yr old grandchild and this was ideal. Shane, our host, was very friendly, accommodating and quick to respond with any questions we had.We can't wait to come back and stay again!

A few buddies and I stayed here for a couple of nights, the host is extremely nice, and the property was fantastic. Would stay here again, as well as recommend absolutely!

It was great for our group of 4

We went down to fish with a guide out of Hopedale and this was a great place to stay, cook, rest and hang out on the canal We will be back next year

Great little place to stay for a little fishing getaway. Great location and even had a place for my boat. Host was very friendly and there early to clean off the dock after the water rose a bit. Will definitely stay again.

LA Getaway

Everything was great. Cabin was so cute, clean and well stocked. We were very pleasantly surprised—way exceeded description on the Internet in my opinion. Perfect place to get away and explore the southern Louisiana area. Docked our boat right outside the door and had ample parking across the street for truck and trailer. Shane was very helpful and responsive. We had a great time!

This place was perfect for everything. Private launch, private dock, dock fishing. It’s clean and nice and in a great location. We will stay there a lot more.

Perfect accommodations for a fishing trip!

If you’re fishing out of Hopedale, this is a great place to stay. Easy commute to meet your guide or launch your own boat from the house dock! The kitchen was nicely stocked, so we were able to prepare our own food and not eat out every meal. The cottage was really cozy. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you to the Robin family.

Place was good for a fishing camp, can’t expect much more but the smell was less then desirable. the launch wasn’t good for my size boat (ranger 2510) had a slope to one side and my boat was not able to be put back on trailer properly. Just my thoughts
