Keep an eye out for elk, wild turkeys and other critters on this 8.5 wooded acres at the end of a country road where there's not another house or car in sight, yet just a short drive to town or beach. Enjoy peaceful privacy in the spacious yard where all you hear are the birds singing and the fog horn in the distance. Lounge on the deck and bbq on the gas grill or roast marshmallows in the fire pit. Watch a movie in the downstairs living area or socialize and entertain on the decadent upstairs level.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 9 day stay at Courtney and Mica’s property. We were a party of 5 adults and 6 children. The house met all our needs as a place to feed people, relax, and as a base for our many activities during the day. I particularly enjoyed the well manicured grounds around their home. We enjoyed watching the elk at the back of their property at the edge of the forest. Mica and Courtney are super hosts. They do their best to make sure all is well at their home and in their neighborhood. We would stay there again.

The home was a great location for seeing the Redwoods. The beds were nice and the property was unique. My lower rating was because there were multiple things not working/broken when we arrived. I will say when shared with the hosts, they responded quickly to get them fixed before the next visitors arrive. This is a split entry so keep that in mind if anyone in your group can't do stairs.

The house was a Mid-Century Modern. I was impressed with the style of the home and some of the furnishings. The kitchen and bathrooms were very clean but several of the other rooms were not as clean. The Host provided what we needed and the living room furniture was lovely. We had plenty of room for the 7 of us to sleep. Family was allowed to park an RV at the home and that was very thoughtful of our host. We were close to the Redwood Forest and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Thank you for the courtesy you showed us. We enjoyed our visit!

Location and grounds were wonderful. Roomy house with a good floor plan and beautiful outdoor areas! Cleanliness was an issue, as was communication with the owners/managers. Downstairs smelled like animals and the floors throughout were not clean. Towels were too few and shabby but the blankets and bedding were sufficient. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen relatively well equipped but they were very stingy with supplies (garbage bags, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.).

Cresent City Stay

Great place to stay. We loved how it was surrounded by trees and secluded, it was very peaceful. The location was great, perfect distance for visiting the forest, beach and river. We enjoyed our time here and would stay again!

We travel a lot for work and Courtney’s home has able to host our 5 man crew from Hawaii for 5 weeks. It had all the amenities we look for when traveling. The home was in a great location and very private. Courtney is a great host, communicated well and very responsive when needed something resolved. I would highly recommend and would book again. This house is tucked away in the woods, just minutes to the town ans beach. You feel away from everything while still having all the conveniences nearby. The owners are awesome and very welcoming. A must stay in Crescent City!

Light, airy and spacious! Perfect for our family of 7. Location to the Redwoods and the beaches was wonderful! We spent most of our time hiking in the woods and playing on the sand. Nice tidepools nearby.

Secluded but Close!

The house was nice and had everything we needed. We especially like the location it was secluded but close to everything we needed. Close to the store close to the redwood parks, but we had our privacy. We would definitely stay again.

Family Wedding

The home was perfect for our large family with four grandkids who came to Crescent City for our daughter’s wedding which was not held at the rental but offered a place to get together for meals and to enjoy each other’s company. The kitchen was incredibly stocked with pans, utensils, and appliances well above the normal rental. It is a beautiful property and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there!

Great place!

It was great! Great location, clean, good wifi, great appliances, and comfy furniture. Note each bathroom has just one roll of TP so if you think you'll go more you will have to get it from town, just 6 minutes away. The frisbee golf was fun. Lots of banana slug sightings which we loved. I'd stay here again

We've lived in the northern most part of California for most of our lives and raised our children here. We wanted a place that was big enough for us and friends to spend time near nature and Crescent City being on the ocean and so close to our favorite river seemed a prime location. We've been told of the lovely family that built and grew up in our home and that makes the vibes in this lush, green sanctuary all the better!

This house has end of the road privacy and quiet with eight and a half acres to roam. The city center is less than five minutes driving time and you can be swimming in the Smith river in 20 min.
Our house is clean and comfortable with mid century modern style and one of a kind hand crafted rugs. We care about cooking and have provided great kitchen tools for the gourmet in your party! We've done our best to provide comfort and style indoors and out so your stay feels like a lavish getaway.
