We enjoyed our time at this home. The owners were very kind and welcoming. The home is older and the layout is interesting but the home does have comfortable beds and is clean.

This is a very solid place with two bedrooms on the first and second floors with bathrooms on each floor. The kitchen is fine, had the necessities and not a lot more.Easy to find, easy to park, nothing really around this locaton but pretty easy to get around Charlotte. It's an good, solid place and pretty good value for the money.

Photos on VRBO were not accurate of the property. Only good thing to speak about was beds were comfortable. In a transitional area of Charlotte House very old and cold. Plaster coming off walls and ceiling. Staircase to upstairs was very steep and narrow. Bedroom upstairs had door leading to attic space that would not close. Musty smell throughout the house. TV in master downstairs not attached to bracket almost fell off. Owners were not responsive about concerns. We were scheduled for the entire weekend but only stayed one night.

The house perfectly accomodated our large family for a quick, mid-trip stop for everyone to rest. Easy access on and off 77. We booked last minute and the host was very responsive to our booking.

It is an older home that has been nicely renovated. Plenty of parking and you feel safe in the neighborhood. Only 15 minutes to downtown Charlotte and you can reach downtown while avoiding congestion on the interstate by taking another simple route. Please note that 2 bedrooms are only accessible by a narrow, steep stairway to the upper floor.

I do think the host is trying to do a good job, but there were several items that weren’t up to the, “Five Star Experience “ he is hoping to achieve. The neighborhood is okay, safe and quiet. Everything we needed was supplied as far as kitchen and bathroom.

The home was perfectly located for the concert we were attending which was the reason for our trip to Charlotte. We found the house clean and furnished with most necessities. Our hosts reached out to us to tell us through email to enjoy the wine and snacks provided for us in the kitchen. I responded that there was no wine or snacks left for us. The next day, we received a response from our host that he was sorry about there not being any wine or snacks and that two bottles of wine and wine glasses were being delivered via instacart to our VRBO - nothing was delivered.

Home not as depicted in photos

This home was not at all as the pictures on the website portrayed. Upon entry to the home, it smelled of cleaning chemicals which remained a constant smell throughout the stay. When we went into the upstairs bedroom, we found a live cockroach. We found a second one dead in the exhaust fan in the bathroom. As for the furniture, the dining room table was in good shape, but the remaining living room furniture and bedroom furniture was worn and broken down. The owner of the property answered questions but was not as responsive as other VRBO owners that we have stayed with. I would not recommend this property.

Clean, Great Communication but Outdated

The Pros:I booked this property as a last resort for my daughter's college grad because it fit with my budget. The communication with the host was excellent and we're not very picky people. We just require cleanliness, which the house was clean enough. The room set up is very, very accommodating for large families wanting to stay in the same house. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were very spacious. The cons:The house is quite outdated! The lights went out in one of the rooms when we arrived the first day so having a baby in that room made it a bit difficult. I did contact the host and thought they would have replaced it the same day, but that did not happen. We made it work! There is construction all around the property, and there is no numbers (that we could see) so finding the property was a bit challenging. There is no ice-maker in the freezer so be sure to pick up a bag, if this is something you require. The last thing that I think needs addressing is the keypad to get into the house. It is not well lit so we typically had to enter the code a couple of times to get in.Overall, it was a pleasant stay!

Great location, everything we wanted to do was within 15 minutes. Kitchen had appliances needed to cook House had plenty of space for everybody and beds were comfortable

Close to Downtown. Quiet neighborhood.

Our family of seven adults stayed in this charming little house. It is an older house that has been BEAUTIFULLY renovated! Deceptively large bedrooms on the inside. Excellent if you just want to connect with family. The owners were responsive when I asked questions. Very close to downtown, the arena and stadium. It is located in a quiet established neighborhood.

Convention in Charlotte

The house was very spacious. The extra amenities provided were greatly appreciated such as a case of water and a pint of ice cream. I guess they were there to help us beat the heat. The property managers were extremely helpful and courteous.
