Welcome to your very private mountain and ski vacation in Adirondacks.
This is a brand new listing and we have done lot of upgrades and more coming this spring and summer. 15 mins to White face ski resort. Brand new driveway and fire pit. New hickory furnishing. Gazebo, play set and day bed on its way.

The cabin is located in a very private neighborhood away from all the disturbance. It also has a private lake and park.
Cabin is very rustic, luxurious and a very unique decor. It is a very personal and custom built A-Frame. A very cute cabin in the woods which is very close to White-face ski resort and within the Adirondack State Park.

Other things to note
- Only small pets allowed. You have to let us know upfront.
- There will be a pet fee of $150/pet. This is primarily for damages, pet cleaning. Guests are responsible for any damage caused by pets especially to all the wood work and expensive furniture.
- One security camera on site facing the driveway for guest's safety.

Cozy stay

Made full use of hot tub and fire pit after beautiful hikes in the Adirondacks, very reasonably priced and good location for accessing Lake Placid and Lake Champlain areas.

Remote and quiet cabin

Had a great time at this place, with only a few hiccups. It’s a little rough around the edges, but if you’re looking for a remote getaway, this is it. Hot tub was a great bonus.

Great getaway

Great cabin, very responsive and kind hosts, great location. We stayed for a long weekend with two little kids- great location for hiking and sight seeing. The kids loved the hot tub and loft area. The only suggestion I would have for families with kids is to bring a gate, the stairs are steep. Otherwise we had a great time. Will definitely re-book!

Great rustic cabin

Amazing location for our weekend stay in the fall. Hot tub, fire pit with chairs, and of course the cabin is clean and spacious for our small group. I appreciate the rustic style of A-frame but it also has great Wi-Fi and is in a good location in the ADK.

While there were some outside cleanliness issues (dirty windows, decks that should be power washed, lots of spider webs near the roof), my overall impression was very positive. We loved the layout and enjoyed our stay immensely.

Ski Getaway

We had a nice stay at the cabin. We enjoyed the hot tub, the pool table and the warm wood stove. Close to Whiteface to ski and about 25 minutes to Lake Placid.

Awesome ski retreat

This property was great for our families with plenty of beds and an entertainment room, which was a hit w our college-age kids! We skied at Whiteface every day and the drive was perfectly fine.

Great place to stay in Jay

Loved the place. Clean, good set up, hot tub magnificent and the owners very responsive and cooperative. Great location and easy in and out to anywhere from Lake Placid to Keeseville to Plattsburgh. Lot has good privacy and the firepit was a nice bonus. Kitchen had everything needed, which has been an issue with other places we've stayed. Definitely would stay again.

It was ok

We stayed over Columbus long weekend. I agree with previous comments about the exterior cleaning and the beds in the loft needing extra support. Also, there were only one water/juice glass we were able to find in the kitchen and there were no wine glasses. A kettle could also be useful. Generally, we enjoyed the space the property offered.

So peaceful

The listing and reviews were right on par. Some Adirondack wilderness inside and outside of the cabin including ants and small spiders but nothing that freaked us out. The hot tub was amazing and there was plenty for us to do (hot tub, tv, fire pit and pool table). The only thing that we wish is the hot tub and fire pit were on the same side of the house so we could enjoy both at the same time. The location was perfect and the roads allowed us to conveniently walk around without getting lost. It was nice to have neighbors but not right on top of us. The house manual said checkout was at 10:00 but vrbo said checkout was 11:00. The owners replied within an hour when we asked to clarify checkout time. We would definitely stay again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin.

Christmas Stay

My family stayed over Christmas and while we ultimately enjoyed our stay, there are several easy improvements for this property. Things like removing the broken satellite dishes from the yard and removing broken ourdoor furniture could really elevate the view. The instruction book upon arrival is pretty useless. The instructions seem to be for a different house with an electric stove, etc. There are zero instructions for the indoor fireplace. We had to replace batteries in remotes so we could turn on the heat in the main area from the mini-split. It really was just lots of details that added up. Positively, the hot tub was clean and ready for us. It was lovely. The washer and dryer worked well and was clean, although there was no detergent (which is fine, but contradicts the instructions). The kitchen is pretty well stocked. The location is great for Lake Placid, White Face, and even Montreal. There is a grocery 10 minutes away and plenty to do here. If you go here expecting a cabin in the woods that is rough around the edges, you’ll be very happy!

A potential Chalett

The Cabin is a perfect getaway when you’re looking for peace and quality time with family. I will suggest the owners to change or speak with the cleaning team because when I got there I found tags, papers ( from previous guest??) and the amount of dust on the floor makes me think the property, hasn’t been clean in a long time, the mats on the bathroom were very dirty, I try to vacuum them but the vacuum seemed it has never been clean ( the odor coming from, was horrible)I spent half a day of my stay cleaning ( sweeping and dusting) that way my kids and myself would feel comfortable. Another suggestion, on the loft beds you should instal more pieces of wood under the mattress ( since there's not box spring) because my daughter’s mattress fell twice, not enough support for the mattress; the 3 pieces is not sufficient. Kitchen, again, cleaning team needs to be on top of that, I had to wash and then boil water and give the pots, dishes and utensils a good wash with that. Good thing there’s a washer and drier, that help me a lot washing beddings before using them because they were not clean! The cabin has lots of potential, after all the cleaning my family had a beautiful time. We spent lots of hours around the fireplace and while enjoying the snowfall.
