The Wendover

4 bedrooms and 3 full baths (recently remodeled) makes for a great home for large groups. Perfectly located just minutes from Grand Haven and Muskegon and only 40 minutes to downtown Grand Rapids. Every bedroom has its own smart tv and the ping pong table in the basement generates something to do for all ages! The large fenced in back yard provides plenty of room to hang out outside. Noise is monitored by Minut noise monitor to protect you from any noise complaints! Close to Mona Lake and Muskegon County Airport (MKG) On Site Parking We don't accept any reservations from guests who live within 25 miles of Norton Shores.

We have stayed in VRBO rentals quite a few times….I gave NEVER seen so many amenities in a rental property before!!!. We were greeted with a beautiful hand written welcome note from Megan (owner)… bottled waters in the fridge… a special coffee selection… and my personal favorite… dark chocolate covered cherries!!! YUMMY MEGAN was very quick to respond when we called… there were at least 9 of us and at times there were 12….we had plenty of room… the 3 ( very nice cots) were perfect for our young teenage boys….there were Yeti drink cups, aluminum foil, many seasonings, olive oil, more very nice pots and pans than you’d ever need, I could go on and on…We all enjoyed our stay…. I would recommend this vacation spot for sure!!.

Great place to stay

House was clean, fully equipped and as advertised . Great place to stay with another family without feeling crowded. Hope to utilize again next year for our annual mini vacation. Cheers!

Like vacationing at home.

There were nine of us, including one eight year old , all family. Very comfortable accommodations, we were there for our daughters wedding so we were on the go a lot and it was so much nicer coming back to a home vs a hotel.

Quiet Neighborhood

Easy to find location. Neighborhood is older and very quiet even being close to an airport. Spent 5 nights and did not have any troubles.

Perfect Family Spot

This property was big enough for our whole family. Nine adults and 1 baby. Enjoyed the beach, Grand Haven and just being together. Also enjoyed our morning and evening walks with our grand baby. Thankful for coffee shop and doughnut shop at the end of the street!

Great stay

We rent vacation homes every year in different cities for our big group to stay in and this was our favorite so far. We were very happy with our stay. The neighborhood is quiet and had lots of parking for our vehicles. Was close enough to lots of fun attractions and had a great backyard/outdoor space for everyone to play in. Lots of great amenities like firewood/fire pit, sleep machines in the bedrooms, and a grill that you don’t normally find in rentals which made for a great stay. The downstairs room got a little stuffy for the kids but overall we had wonderful time and would definitely recommend!

Home away from home!

All I can say is that The Wendover exceeded all of our expectations!! The pictures online show us a little bit of how nice it is but actually walking in did the job. Labeling everything was the best ever. I will definitely stay again. My parents are 3 minutes away. So it was super convenient for us. The house was spacious and was a fit for all ages.

Enjoyed our stay!

Great neighborhood and very nice, clean home. Loved having the basement for the kids to hang out in. Big, open kitchen, dining, and living room area. Owner was very generous with extras (water in frig, toilet paper, paper towel, etc). We’ve rented many homes that never offered extra paper products so we always had to go out and purchase more to make it through our stay. Great communication and quick responses. Would highly recommend!

Modern vacation home

We enjoyed staying at this modern, roomy home during our time in the Muskegon area. It was very clean, well equipped, comfortable, and well located. The owner was accessible when needed and very helpful. We would happily stay here again if we came back to this area.

Family time trip

From the time we arrived until we left everything was perfect. On first day there Megan told us about the Taste of Muskegon! The home has the perfect open floor plan, we were able to play games, watch tv and eat all at the same time. Definitely some place you should check out, close to stores, parks and the beach. And don't forget the boardwalk!

Hi! My name is Megan. I grew up on the beautiful Lake Michigan beaches in Grand Haven. After college I moved to Washington D.C. and recently moved back to Michigan in Spring 2021 with my two dogs, Jeter and Jordan and my boyfriend Charlie.
