Mid Century Modern home 2 minutes from the beach and trails close to everything!

Welcome to The Roodmont Repose! Bright, sun-filled family area with a flat screen television provides our guests with plenty of break-away space for everyone to relax. Main floor bedrooms offer a variety of sleeping options. Master bedroom is tucked away with king bed and access to a full bath. Hallway leads to a pair of additional bedrooms, one with a queen bed and another with three bunk beds. Kitchen opens to dining area and is fully furnished for the chef in your group. Feel free to help yourself to the seasonal vegetables in our raised garden beds! New appliances, range, and spacious quartz counters make meal prep a highlight of your stay. Enjoy the fruits of your labor in the modern dining area or take the party outside to the amazing patio area and spacious fenced-in back yard. Lounge chairs, gas grill, dining table, and plenty of shade create an ideal green space to enjoy in this private and perfectly manicured yard. Enjoy time around the custom built firepit, as there is plenty of firewood and marshmallow sticks on site to make smores with the family.
Once you are ready to begin your day, take a stroll to Ross Park where you will find a disc golf course, an excellent swimming beach, playground equipment and baseball diamonds. Feel like shopping? You can take a 15-minute drive to Grand Haven or a 10-minute drive to Downtown Muskegon where you will find endless options for dining, coffee, breweries, shopping, and entertainment during your stay. Enjoy lunch at the Toasted Pickle in Grand Haven, Brunchhouse in Muskegon, or take advantage of the beautiful scenery of Lake Michigan at The Deck on Pere Marquette Beach in Muskegon. The Deck offers live outdoor music every night during the summer months. Or enjoy a drink and watch the boats along the channel. Book a sightseeing tour on the AquaStar of Muskegon and take in the scenery as you pass by lakefront homes on your way to Lake Michigan. If you feel like exploring nature, you can hike miles of marked trails at Hoffmaster Park or spend a day at the beach at the beautiful Pere Marquette Beach, located directly on Lake Michigan.

This house was perfect for my husband and I to truly just relax for a week away from home, but to still relax the way we would at home. The house is comfortable, well stocked, nicely furnished and decorated, with a wonderful outdoor area. This is the nicest rental house we've experienced so far! The indoor plants were so nice to have, too!

Great place for a family vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The house was perfect for the five of us to stay in. It is within an easy distance to the beaches in Muskegon and Grand Haven, plus other fun things to do in the area! We would definitely want to stay here again!

We had a great stay! Easy drive to Grand haven beach, Michigan’s adventure, parks on Lake Michigan with a beautiful sunset, and golf courses. House was great for my family, nice conveniences included such as paper towels, adequate toilet paper, toiletries, and kitchen stuff. Nice backyard with a great fire pit!

The property was excellent. The Owners provided many amenities you might have forgotten. Their backyard is like its own oasis. Quick drive to the beach, restaurants, and to hop right on the highway.

As good or better than listing!

Our group of four college friends stayed here for our annual get together. We loved the design touches, and the house setup worked great for us. We used the outdoor space as well and enjoyed the nearby parks and beach! Thanks for a wonderful place to relax and reconnect!

Great location

We had a great weekend visiting area shopping and breweries. The house is just a short drive to Grand Haven and downtown Muskegon. After an evening on the town, we enjoyed the awesome back yard space with a bonfire. Great house, would highly recommend.

High School Fishing Team Tournament

A great place to stay for our first High School Fishing Tournament of the season. Our Host, Mike was fantastic, great communication, and just an all around great place for us to stay and relax after all day fishing for 4 days. Great outdoor firepit and plenty of chairs/outdoor seating. Kitchen was fully equipped for all types of cooking. Look forward to renting again.

Great place!

My sisters and I came for a long weekend to attend the Unity Fest in Muskegon. We loved this house! It was perfect for our needs. It was clean and very comfortable. We will be back next year for Unity Fest 2025!

Great Location for Lots of Adventure

Our family of 6 greatly enjoyed our stay at the Repose. The house offers everything you need for a nice getaway and place to relax after adventures out to nearby beaches, dunes, and cute cities to explore. Check-in was a breeze and the property manager was easy to reach and quick to respond! I highly recommend this property if you're looking to enjoy the grand haven/Muskegon area!

We loved our stay at the repose! The property was very clean and conveniently located. Check in and check out was a breeze. Our kids loved the triple bunk beds, the garden, and roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. We highly recommend staying here and hope to stay again on our next visit to Western MI.

Excellent Place for a Family Vacation

This rental felt like home! From the decor to the creature comforts of home, this place did not disappoint! The back yard is amazing with a vegetable garden at your disposal. There is plenty of room for our family of 5 and the hosts were gracious and responsive to all our needs. Feeling at home while on vacation is hard, but this rental delivered in spades.

This house was beautiful! They had everything inside updated and the back patio/garden/fireplace were so pretty. They had all the amenities you would need and more! The beds were comfy, the living room was very nice to relax in and the kitchen had everything we needed for plates/pots/pans.We loved walking over to the airport to watch the planes take off and land. We also loved the “Ross Beach” 2 min down the road. It’s “like” your own private beach! Thursday they have a ski show! This was a dream vacation home and we would love to come back again one day! Thank you so much!!!

Great Little House for Family Vacation

The house was a great size for our family to 4, with room to spare. The kids loved the bunk room. The area around the house was quiet and peaceful. The check in and check out process was the simplest we’ve experienced for an VRBO home. The owners were friendly and easy to work with. They checked in with us after a big storm came through Muskegon to make sure we didn’t need anything. There were a lot of dining and shopping options within 10 minutes of the house. We would definitely recommend staying here.
