Welcome to The Roodmont Repose! Bright, sun-filled family area with a flat screen television provides our guests with plenty of break-away space for everyone to relax. Main floor bedrooms offer a variety of sleeping options. Master bedroom is tucked away with king bed and access to a full bath. Hallway leads to a pair of additional bedrooms, one with a queen bed and another with three bunk beds. Kitchen opens to dining area and is fully furnished for the chef in your group. Feel free to help yourself to the seasonal vegetables in our raised garden beds! New appliances, range, and spacious quartz counters make meal prep a highlight of your stay. Enjoy the fruits of your labor in the modern dining area or take the party outside to the amazing patio area and spacious fenced-in back yard. Lounge chairs, gas grill, dining table, and plenty of shade create an ideal green space to enjoy in this private and perfectly manicured yard. Enjoy time around the custom built firepit, as there is plenty of firewood and marshmallow sticks on site to make smores with the family.
Once you are ready to begin your day, take a stroll to Ross Park where you will find a disc golf course, an excellent swimming beach, playground equipment and baseball diamonds. Feel like shopping? You can take a 15-minute drive to Grand Haven or a 10-minute drive to Downtown Muskegon where you will find endless options for dining, coffee, breweries, shopping, and entertainment during your stay. Enjoy lunch at the Toasted Pickle in Grand Haven, Brunchhouse in Muskegon, or take advantage of the beautiful scenery of Lake Michigan at The Deck on Pere Marquette Beach in Muskegon. The Deck offers live outdoor music every night during the summer months. Or enjoy a drink and watch the boats along the channel. Book a sightseeing tour on the AquaStar of Muskegon and take in the scenery as you pass by lakefront homes on your way to Lake Michigan. If you feel like exploring nature, you can hike miles of marked trails at Hoffmaster Park or spend a day at the beach at the beautiful Pere Marquette Beach, located directly on Lake Michigan.
