Enjoy your stay at this 2 bedroom duplex in the heart of Indian Lake. Next to the Indian Lake Theater and near all the stores and restaurants. There is a big garden in the back where you can pick fresh salad greens and whatever produce is in season. This unit is on the snowmobile/hiking trails which go on for miles upon miles through the Adirondacks. Great location 20 miles from great skiing at Gore Mountain. Enjoy the many activities that this area has to offer such as a skating rink, hiking, cross country skiing trails, boating, public beach 1 mile away. Available for long term ski seasonal rental.

We stayed the week of July 4th to visit some friends, apartment was cozy and quiet, it’s conveniently located close to Stewart’s and a couple of eating establishments, perfect for a family of 5 or less,

Great spot in town.

Well kept and great location. An Irish pub next door and a Stewarts gas/convenience store just a 2 minute walk away. Host was very responsive.

Beautiful spot in Adirondacks

While the basic but perfectly functional apartment is right on the Main Street of Indian Lake next to a bar (with great food) and the town’s theatre, the whole place has an Adirondack vibe and allows access to all that the area provides. John was friendly and helpful. Going during the town’s Moose Fest was a huge bonus!

Cozy Duplex in Indian Lake NY

Cozy Duplex - Right on the Main Street (Route 28) - with convenience to dining, entertainment, and shopping. Pet Friendly with fenced yard area. Definitely recommend and would look to rerent in the future.

Convenient Location, Great Basecamp

Was in town for Black Fly Challenge bicycle race. The property location was ideal, 5 minute walk from the finish line. Property is not fancy but has everything you would need, priced right too. Owner was very responsive and accommodating. I would stay here again for sure.

Indian Lake

The property was conveniently located in Indian Lake which has all amenities except a grocery store, although the gas station does cover the very basics. It is close to Blue Mountain Lake for the museum and there is plenty of hiking close by. John, the owner, was easy to communicate with.

We were for friends that were in the Adirondacks to paddle our kayaks. Location is ideal because it’s near a lot of beautiful, rivers and lakes. The convenience of two wonderful restaurants next-door plus a Stewart’s made this a great location. We will definitely be back next year.

Ski trip

Townhouse was perfect for our trip. John was available if we needed anything (we didn’t). After we got there, we ate at the restaurant next store and they were friendly and welcoming (knew John). I couldn’t figure out how to work the shower but other than that, everything was perfect. I will definitely be back!

Nice spot!

My brothers and I met here to get together for the weekend and wanted to visit the Adirondack Museum. We hung out and went on some short nearby walks...definitly a great place if you're coming to do some hiking or snowmobiling. My only complaints are wishing it was a bit cleaner (hair all over the bathmat and a bit dusty, mice feces in the kitchen under sink) and the kitchen faucet should be replaced (it was a bit of a challenge turing it on and off).

Great location, comfy accommodation

Just a two night visit while attending watercolor workshop nearby. Perfect, affordable, cozy apartment; very conveniently located right downtown in Indian lake. Fresh Wall to wall carpeting in bedrooms upstairs was a nice surprise. Soft beds and clean linens. And my 12lb pup was happy to romp in small back yard. Quick reply from host when I had a question about how to work the shower. Happy to recommend this rental.

Awesome time

Cozy, Adirondack feel. Love coffee table rocking chair.Love the little fenced in yard and outside table. Close proximity to everything. Hiking trails abd beach just minutes away.Walk to stewarts, ace hardware, multiple restaurants. Movie theater is only open thurs- sat. Snowmobile trails right outback great for taking dog for walk. Wet weather wear boots. Nice garden area imagine great when in bloom (we went off season).

Comfy apartment

We were in town for a baby shower, but the area is perfect for someone wanting a quiet beach/lake getaway. The local store is full of pretty much anything you can need, and this apartment is nestled right next to two restaurants and the Stewarts. The rental had a pack and play which was awesome for our infant to sleep in, and saved us from having to bring one. The backyard was convenient to let our dog out without needing to watch him too closely, though there was a decent gap in the fence that moat dogs would easily get out of if they had the motication to wander. John let hs check in early, and everything was exactly what we needed for our weekend getaway!

The home was comfortable and met all my needs. It’s not “fancy” but it was clean and comfortable. Walkable access to Stewart’s convenience store. The home allows well behaved dogs and the back has a small fenced in area with a tether cord that was provided. The owner is available at all times for any issues (we had none). Other areas of the home are currently being renovated but not at the time we were there. I would stay there again as there are activities close by ( Adirondack rafting company is less than a mile away) as well as nearby restaurants (drive). Overall perfect stay. Thank you !
