The Cozy Lookout - a perfect getaway

The Cozy lookout sits on 5 acres at the top of Thompson Ridge with a view for miles. We are just a short 5 minute drive to Rock House and 20 minutes from both Old Mans Cave and Ash Cave. Inside we have a cozy queen size bed and pullout full size sofa sleeper, full kitchen with cooktop, bathroom/shower and coffee. The middle floor is also equipped with a Hot Tub and movie room. Other amenities, 2 smart Tv's, high speed internet, Alexa controlled lights upstairs and many more. We have over 230 reviews on other rental websites for the same listing!

House was good for what we we're looking for. It is definitely pretty small, and the layout isn't ideal - with needing to walk outside on the stairs to enter and leave the hot tub, but overall was a pleasant stay.

A very cozy spot. Just what I needed to rest and rejuvenate. Having a weighted blanket to use was a nice touch.

Weekend trip

Cozy little place for 2. Great at night, view off the back porch was great for stargazing. Movie room was hot so bring a fan if its gonna be warm out.

Nice cozy place with great view

My husband and I went for our anniversary. It was a great little place that was close to other areas so we were able to get to places easily! We went to Rock House for a hike and it was a great! We recommend Mams Rusted Skillet and Ridge Inn restaurant in Laurelville for food!!

Good placs to hang your hat for s few days

The view of the water was fun to watch all the boat activities. Access to the building's pool was a plus. Its also a easy location for drivers to pick up, drop off

Cute little spot

Really enjoyed a weekend stay away from the city. Was super cute and quiet i slept so well. The veiw was supper nice and hottub was so relaxing.

The stay was comfortable and nice, however there was nothing in the propane tank to cook with on the grill, the water level in the hot tub was extremely low ( the jets had a hard time cycling water) and the remote downstairs for the tv was mia for several hrs till i found it misplaced upstairs. Otherwise it was an okay stay but not anything I'd rebook in the future.

Cabin stay

We enjoyed our stay in the cabin. No real surprises...the bathroom is small just like the listing said. Outside and down steps to the hot tub...just like other reviewers said. Not a real problem at all. The only negative I have with this property is two flights of steps to cook on the grill. If you want to eat on the patio near the fire, this is not a problem. There is an Alexa device in the cabin which we listened to practically the entire time...a very nice touch. We would stay there again for sure.

Cute and cozy!!

The property was very cute and maintained. The house was very clean inside and well equipped for our stay. The hot tub was very clean and sanitary as was the kitchen and bathroom. It was a very pleasant experience for us and we've recommended the property to our friends and family. We'll be back as well.

Nice

The place was nice and in a quiet setting alongside the road. The upstairs living quarters were nice and clean. The bathroom is small and would not recommend for larger persons. To get to the hot tub or outside grill you must go down the outside stairs and through the lounging area. The hot tub needed cleaning so we did not use and the grill area could have used a good sweeping due to the many dead bugs and leaves. Overall, it was a pleasant place to stay for a few days on the spur of the moment planning.
