Starr Valley Cabin is a 2 Bedroom Cabin within walking distance to Old Man's Cave Park in Hocking Hills. Enjoy the convenience of not having to find a parking space in a full lot at old man's cave park. A Large yard with level area for easy parking. After hiking come and enjoy our 6 Person hot tub on a covered porch. We offer an outdoor firepit with 2 covered porches with outdoor furniture. A 40" smart TV with satellite TV and wireless internet for your enjoyment. A full kitchen with basic cooking utensils and tableware and a full-size bathroom with tub/shower combo. WE HAVE A SIMULAR CABIN DAKOTA TRAIL WHICH IS CLOSE BY AND PONDEROSA WHICH IS ON THE SAME PROPERTY, LISTED ON VRBO , Pets welcome with a $50.00 fee per stay , please don't forget to ✅ the box . Great little cabin. Lots of privacey. Only negatives that the kitchen isnt very well equipped and the oven turned on but didn't really work. Other than that, great stay!

The location of the cabin being so close to Old Man's Cave and the Hocking Hills Visitor's Center is really cool and convenient. The cabin is a little rustic but very functional. It allowed my wife and I to have a much needed rest and relaxation after a long fall semester. The owners were very responsive via text and phone call to deal with any issues and even promptly delivered a fresh set of towels for us when we asked for it. Some suggestions that would have made the stay better:- may be good to upgrade the grill since the heating elements are disintegrating and the metal grill itself has some broken parts. I was still able to use it, but it needs an upgrade.- the cabin needs a cutting board, scissors- some of the kitchen utensils may need to be replaced - some are really old and fragile. We were cooking an omelette and one of the spatulas just broke into 3 pieces while we were cooking.

Everything was perfect. Our cabin host thought of everything we might need and the location of Star Valley cabin was ideal. We lived out time spent in Hocking Hills and will be back

Super clean, cozy, the property contact responded quickly to our question. Property has a great location, however was also quiet, private. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had everything you would need. Satellite TV was good. We did not use the hot tub. We highly recommend this cabin.

Overall, it was a great property. A few things were quirky - like the extreme heat in the one bedroom, and the bathroom sink faucet, but everything was clean and working. The hot tub is a very nice addition!

Excellent central location just minutes away from several easy hikes. Attentive hosts. Everything was as promised. Perfectly comfortable with AC and Hot Tub a bonus. Nice that there are two (2) bedrooms.

We had a very nice long weekend! Cabin is so close to everything but felt so quiet and peaceful! We enjoyed watching the deer, sipping coffee on the porch and had a fire in the fire pit. Hannah was so good communicating and the whole process was very simple! Would stay again!

The cabin had a smell that made my friend nauseous. It was a good thing I had brought incense or we would not have been able to stay there. The hot tub was so strong a smell of chlorine I could go in it. The lamp in the bedroom had a broken switch - should have been replaced prior to someone staying there.

The house was a great location. Hot tub was nice. It could use more kitchen items but we made it work. The only disappointment was the air didn’t keep bedrooms cool. The unit is on wall in living room.

There was a lot of mold around freezer door. Bath tub was stained along with bathroom floor needing repair. It wasn’t really dirty but the needed repairs made it look dirty. The beds were very uncomfortable. Side porch with hot tube needing to look more appealing, for that we didn’t even use the hot tube. Owner was very nice. Not enough silverware so we had to go buy some. Only had 2 of each and there was 3 of us so we had to share . Not enough towels .

Cabin is perfect for anyone needing 2 bedrooms plus. Very clean, kitchen has anything needed for you to bring your own groceries and cook, including a couple of grills outside. Really enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of hiking. The front porch is great for just sitting out and enjoying the solitude. Got to see some deer. Feels secluded, but close to walking trails, old man’s cave, and anything else is just a short drive with great scenery. Owners were available in case we needed anything. I would definitely stay here again. Thank Patrick and Hannah!!!

I have lived on this property all my life My father purchased the property in 1946 after serving in the Air Force during WW11 The property was farmed until just a few years ago but it just maintained now. This cabin and Starr Valley were built in 1999 and have been updated over the years . I have had management companies take care of the cabins , but this year my daughter Hannah and I decided to take care of the cabins and offer better service .

I enjoy living only about a half mile from one of the most popular state parks Old Mans Cave . The park offers water falls ,over hang cave ,cliffs, rim trails and miles of hiking tails. I could hike in the park everyday if I had time
