Enjoy a relaxing stay in this comfortable 2-bedroom, 2-bath home with a private study, located in the desirable Palo Alto Village of The Villages. With a free 4-person golf cart, enclosed lanai, and great central location, this home is perfect for guests wanting to experience the best of The Villages lifestyle—golf, recreation, dining, and entertainment all just minutes away.

Inside, you’ll find an open and easygoing layout with a bright great room that connects the living and dining spaces. The fully equipped kitchen has newer appliances and a cozy breakfast nook—perfect for morning coffee while you watch the neighborhood come to life. A dedicated study with a printer makes it easy for remote work or longer stays, and both bathrooms feature natural solar lighting for a bright, refreshing feel.

Step outside to the enclosed tropical lanai, set up as a flexible game room and extra lounge space with a futon for guests. You’ll also enjoy a 3-car garage with an air-conditioned laundry area, high-speed Wi-Fi, TVs, and resident/guest passes for full access to community amenities. When you’re ready to explore, take the golf cart to nearby golf courses, adult pools, or head to Spanish Springs Town Square and Lake Sumter Landing for live music, restaurants, shopping, and nightly entertainment. (BTW, Village pools are maintained year-round at 84° F .)

This property offered everything needed and was centrallylocated in a peaceful community . Just a golf ride away to golf , pools ,restaurants and shops . Donna was extremely accommodating , even with short notice and went out of her way to ensure we were taken care of . We very much enjoyed our stay !

I would have to say this was one of the most enjoyable stays I have experienced. The house was outstanding and the golf was great. But the best part was the interaction with the owner, Donna. She made us feel as though we lived in the neighborhood and told us what're the best restaurants and things to do. We are definitely going to try and book this house the next time we come to the villages!

Perfect location

Great location, close to Tiera Del Sol, Spanish Springs and Ft. Sumter Landing. Spotless home, hostess was very welcoming-even had a chilled bottle of wine waiting for us!

Great house, fun in the villages

Easy checkin, great communication from owner, clean, very spacious and wonderful to have a golf cart and a garage for our vehicle ! The location is about a 5 min walk to the pool/tennis courts and rec centre and restaurant. Quiet neighborhood !

Our stay

Our host was so nice and accommodating and also very interesting.. accommodations were clean and well taken care of. The house was well supplied with small things that saved us from buying them…..spices ,coffee, zip lock bags,etc. (so many things) Was close to a pool and easy to get around.

I’m an eighth-generation country girl, originally from New Bedford, Massachusetts, and raised in the small town of East Freetown. My journey began in a two-room schoolhouse and led me, through hard work and determination, to earn a doctoral degree in Marine Ecology, with studies in Biology, Oceanography, and Education.

My career has taken me around the world—from teaching Marine Botany in Kenya to working as a Marine Biologist in Florida, and later educating students and professionals in Oceanography in Virginia. I eventually retired after 25 years in federal service as a Marine Ecologist and Branch Chief, including leading a 2,500-mile scientific expedition across the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands, where our team discovered over 100 new species.

Before retiring, I began exploring my creative side through painting wildlife and waterscapes. I later co-founded an art gallery in Virginia. After the loss of my husband, I was drawn to The Villages by friends—and quickly fell in love with the vibrant, welcoming community.

After renting here for several seasons, I purchased my first home in 2018 and soon after found another special property beside the nearby lake. I couldn’t part with my original home, so I decided to transform it into a place where guests can feel just as at home in The Villages as I do.
