Beautiful home with all you need for a great vacation! Kitchen has it all, bathroom with walk-in shower, 2 bedrooms with options for sleeping, washer/dryer, and comfortable living room and dining area. Home sits among trees and watched the deer each morning. Would definitely stay again!

Lots of little touches that made us feel welcome and at home. Kitchen better stocked than any place we’ve ever rented. It was just 2 adults, but well equipped for a family with kids! Comfortable and clean.

A more than adequate quaint cottage in a quiet community just south of Egg Harbor. Easy walk/bike into Egg harbor. Check in was quick and efficient, came with a well stocked kitchen, and the sleeping arrangements were comfortable. Very much enjoyed a relaxing week there.

Great get-a-way in Beautiful Egg Harbor

My husband and I had an amazing time visiting Door County for the first time and we had all the comforts of home in this lovely and clean cottage. It was ideally located from downtown Egg Harbor and a short drive to the other towns. We will definitely return!

Another Great Stay!

This was our second time staying here and just like last year, the home was perfect for us! Plenty of space with everything well maintained and very clean. Close to so many fun activities, including the water. Will definitely return if we get the chance!

This place was fabulous! Lots of extras - Kleenex, paper towels, any dish you could possibly need, plenty of towels, etc. communication with the owner was also great! We hope to come again someday. It was also close to downtown Egg Harbor.

My husband and I completely enjoyed staying at this sweet place. Perfect for a couple or small family. Everything is provided for us down to the forks to roast marshmallows! We didn't want to leave.

Wonderful cottage in egg harbor

We really enjoyed our stay at this house right by alpine golf course too! Such a lovely neighborhood for walks/runs. So easy to get downtown or anywhere in door county. Property was well maintained; beds super comfy; perfect for our family of 5. Kids loved watching the deer in the neighborhood!

Excellent home to stay in!

We had a very happy and comfortable stay in July at this place. The location was ideal with proximity to the water and the town of Egg Harbor. The property is well kept and very well furnished, and easily the best equipped kitchen we've ever rented! Will definitely come back if we can

Comfortable, quiet, yet close to town

Just a great stay. Host was excellent in all communications. House was comfortable and clean. We had wonderful meals sitting outside and had great fire pit time. Just a mile out of Egg Harbor, but so quiet! Supplies quite adequate for all we needed. Highly recommended.

Perfect getaway

This charming little cottage was absolutely perfect for our anniversary trip. The property was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The location was ideal to get out and explore Door County while offering a quiet place to retreat to at the end of each adventure. The host was very informative and responsive. Relaxing retreat

Comfortable, updated, well appointed property perfect for a quiet family retreat. Lots of space, toys, comfortable beds. Indoor and outdoor fireplace, good kitchen, new laundry machines, great bathroom, and the remote work station was really helpful. We loved the quiet wooded setting, slept late, enjoyed lots of s'mores, a few movies, and cooking at the cottage. It was easy to settle in and feel like home.

A lovely cottage

Cozy, warm and secluded, this was the perfect getaway for us. Having a completely furnished and clean kitchen was definitely a plus. We loved using the fireplace. As my wife has mobility issues, a grab bar or two in the modernized shower stall would have been helpful to alleviate her safety concerns. Highly recommend!

Five fun days!

We came to Egg Harbor, Door County for a family reunion and had a marvelous time. Our host was great! Answered all my questions before we even got there. The cottage was bigger and nicer than the pictures showed. Everything was clean and beautifully decorated. It felt like home away from home. Our daughter and so -in-law came with their 7mo old baby and the cottage had everything they needed. It was one of the best family vacations ever!

First, thank you for the review and the feedback. We love the fireplace as well and always have plenty of wood for guests to use. Second, we do have a teapot in the cabinet next to the stove. I wish you would have reached out and asked, I would have been more than happy to confirm we did have one and tell you where it was located. Lastly, I am sorry you did not like the view from the deck. I assume you are referring to the new construction behind us. Unfortunately, we cannot control what happens to the properties around us or the length of the building process. We were told they were going to be done the beginning of June and clearly it is taking longer. Once they wrap up the construction the landscaping will be complete, and the view will definitely improve. In the meantime, there is not much we can do. We do like the A frame design of the new place and once it’s done I think it will be a nice place to look at. We also plan to add some additional trees and landscaping on our side once they do the same on their side.

Cozy Cottage perfect for our family

We were very pleased with our stay at this cottage. It is in a wonderful, quiet neighborhood in Egg Harbor but it is also close to all of the fun activities. We were there over the 4th of July and it was a great time to be in Door County. The house has everything you need and more. It was well-stocked for the 4 of us and we had absolutely no issues. There is no central A/C, so it did get a little muggy, but the bedrooms have very nice window units and they were more than adequate for sleeping. Overall a great house that I would be happy to rent again in any season.

Thank you for the review, we are glad you enjoyed your stay! We should have mentioned there is a box fan in the hall cabinet that we usually use to push the air out into the main area. It helps to cool the entire cottage down if it gets really humid. We will definitely add that to our cottage guide for guests.

Egg Harbor Cottage

Nice little cottage. Bed was comfortable as was the furniture. Large bathroom with walkin shower. AC in bedrooms. We used a fan to pull the cool air into the living area. Kitchen was well equipped. Cute cherry dinnerware. Big fridge and dishwasher was a plus. Also nicer washer and dryer. There is a nice deck with party lights. We didnt use the outdoor space because mosquitoes were bad everywhere we went outdoors. Short drive into Egg Harbor. You wouldnt walk there. Had decent communication with owner in advance of arrival, but not much after.

Location perfect for our needs

This is a cute, quiet place in a great location for our needs during this trip! While it doesn’t have central AC, the bedrooms were plenty cold with the window units. Kitchen was stocked with things we needed to make lunches and a couple dinners. Having the W/D was really helpful too. A couple things to note: it’s walkable to water views, but you’ll drive or bike to the public beaches, which are a couple miles to the north and south. We forgot to pack cooking spices, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, and paper towels (TP and paper towels were provided, just not enough for the length of our stay), but the grocery store in town is very close, so it wasn’t a big deal. Tip for coffee drinkers: some delicious door county coffee was provided (much appreciated as we forgot that too!!), but we needed more for our stay- it’s a standard coffee pot so bring ground coffee! Again, not a complaint at all, but a tip for future renters who read reviews, as that’s the info I like to have!

Exactly as hoped

This is a wonderful property! Short walk to lake, could have walked from town if needed. Cottage was clean and well-appointed (only tiny missing things that are usually in places we've stayed were salt and pepper and tupperware containers). The window in the shower overlooking the woods is really nice. The amount of firewood and supplies to make a fire and/or grill were exceptional. Thank you John for sharing your place with us and for the outstanding communication!

Fantastic Door County getaway!

What a great property and location! The house was perfect for my husband and our two kids as we explored all of Door County. The location was close to the water and Egg Harbor downtown. It was so quiet! There was plenty of room for everyone inside and out and the fireplace was an added bonus. The house was well stocked and the hosts were fantastic and very easy to communicate with. We will definitely be staying here again when we come back to Door County!!

Perfect fit

Very clean and nicely decorated. Extremely comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked with all you need for pots and pans and cookware. Fit us perfectly. Has all the things needed for a nice getaway. Owner is very friendly and responsive ,eager to make sure we were comfortable. Would highly recommend this place. It is centrally located lots of things to do all around. Five stars from us.

Hi, I am John and I host this property along with my wife Angela. We are high school sweethearts that love Door County and all it has to offer. Although this is a new listing to VRBO we are not new to property rental. We have a long term rental and we treat that property as if we were living in it. We are very prompt with our tenant requests and make sure our property is in the best condition possible.

As much as we love Door County life is busy and we do not get up there as much as we like. We decided instead of letting it sit empty we would rather rent it out and let others enjoy all we love about the Door Peninsula.

One of the things we love about our cottage is its close enough to downtown Egg Harbor but still quiet. We have a nice wooded lot that offers privacy for outside dining, bonfires and conversation but we are only minutes from shops, restaurants, wineries and breweries.
