MODERN Spacious 4bed 2bath HARVARD MIT BOS Cambridge Somerville walk everywhere!
Tastefully designed and furnished, clean, bright, and sunny 2nd floor spacious apartment with private entrance. Very convenient & close proximity to Sullivan Sq, Assembly Row, and all Boston major attractions are a short ride away. Completely renovated a decade ago with modern amenities that include central AC/Heat, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, cookware, quality linen & towels, professionally decorated for you & your family to have a pleasant and comfortable stay.
Clean, spaciaa, a perfect place for a meeting of friends! The apartment rooms got very very hot if you close the bedroom doors, so my suggestion is to leave them open!
Points faibles : Communication, exactitude de lâannonce
Property is large and has a convenient location. Itâs on a dead end street that is crowded with parked cars making it one way and difficult to enter and exit. Train tracks about 150 feet away make it noisy and rumbling frequently. Major renovation across the narrow street resulted in our private parking being used every day by workers , blocking us in or out daily. A 20 foot dumpster on the street by the property further complicating access. Both bathrooms had toilets either not bolted to the floor or seats so loose they were about to fall off, faucets on sinks loose and a shower with a missing faucet handle. The kitchen while spacious had a faucet loose and a inoperable ice maker. One bedroom had exposed wires. Many of these were reported previously when we went back to old reviews. Rodents were a problem outside. Placing a trash bag outside the door to take down in a minute resulted in rodents tearing into it in minutes. Notification to the host never did get any response.
Great communication with host, clean, short walk to the T. This home was just what we needed for a base camp for visiting Boston. We didnât use the kitchen so Iâm not sure about that, but the beds were all big, comfortable and clean.
Arrived at the property at 4-ish, but had never received check in info. So I left messages, emails, and voicemails. They never returned calls or messages. VRBO had to contact owner. Turns out the owner double-booked us through another app. I received 100% refund, but it didnât help me find a place to stay in the one hour I had left before we went to the event that prompted our trip to Boston. If they had returned my calls or messages so I could have found alternative arrangements sooner, my rating would be different. That being said, VRBO customer service gets 5 stars.
Enjoyed our stay. Not too far from Harvard which is what we were looking for. Spacious and nice inside. Close to train but didn't cause any issues. Washer/dryer was a bonus. No surprises. Would definitely stay again.
No surprises, it looked as nice in person as in the pictures. Recommend leaving instructions about using the air conditioner, took us several hours of sweating in the heat wave to figure it out.Overall, very positive stay.
We only stayed one night at the property and we really only slept there. We were in town for the Red Sox so didnât spend much time there. Overall it was just as advertised. The neighborhood is a little out of the way from Boston. The only negative is the 2nd bathroom is on the other side of the apartment from 3 of the bedrooms and the other is inside the other bedroom. Itâs a little inconvenient to share for a larger group. But for us it was fine for 1 night. Flavia was very responsive and provided some good advice for getting around.
Two families visiting colleges during Spring Break. Central location made it easy get around, 2 king beds great for parents and queens in other 2 rooms great for teens. Easy layout, all the necessities provided, including parking. Great stay!
This property worked out fantastic for our family visit to Boston. While the exterior of the home is not updated, this unitâs accommodations were excellent! The 4 bedrooms slept grandma & grandpa, my husband & me, & our 3 young boys. I appreciate the rental having a few extra perks like a washed/dryer with detergent for our use, and the bathrooms stocked with mini toothpaste, stops, and facial wipes. Excellent walking distance to the east Somerville T stop!
2nd floor unit that is spacious, very clean. About equidistant to Union Sq and Assembly Row. Worked well for a weekend bachelor party. We comfortably slept 8 in the bedrooms, and there are a couple pullouts as well.
The stay was in suburb of Boston. Good location. There was a few repairs needed. Bathroom sink faucet moved. There was a light in bedroom ceiling that had open wires. Other than that the place was clean. The outside patio could used cleaned up but we didnât ise
Worked really well for a bachelor group of 12. Plenty of room to sleep and hang out, and the proximity to Boston is perfect. We had to take Uber XLâs everywhere, and no trip was beyond $30. Would highly recommend!
Overall, the stay was perfect for what my family needed to spend a day in Boston. The walkability was a little bit far from things, but better than driving and parking. Especially on a nice day. Close grocery store was easy to find!
Driving to Boston was a breeze and everyone slept comfortably.
With 8 of us, we were concerned about having enough comfortable sleeping space. This place was perfect. With 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. We had plenty of room. The space was clean and felt very homey. It was perfect. The neighborhood didnât look like much but the inside definitely made up for that.
There were 8 of us on a family trip to Boston and we could not have enjoyed our place more. It was an extremely comfortable stay. Everyone commented how comfortable the beds were. The parking spots were key as we had two cars and it was very easy to get to Boston or Cambridge by driving or using the T. The host was extremely responsive to communication. A great place that we would definitely book again.
Just simply a loving mother of beautiful twin-girls, a wife to a hard working husband, and someone that is looking to host great people at our loving, spacious, modern home in the trendy Somerville, which is part of the greater Boston area.
I love arts and crafts and I am an avid cricut user too!
Property that we used to live in before we moved to the suburbs - now we offer it to guests looking for large, comfortable, and modern accommodations close to the city of Boston.
Proximity to the subway (Green Line East Somerville is only 5-7 min walk away), coupled with parking for up to 3 or 4 vehicles depending on their sizes in addition to large, comfortable, and modern accommodations.
