Perfect family beach house

The house is updated and spacious and very accommodating for all ages! Walking distance for the beach and Whaleys restaurant right across the street. Definitely recommend!!

Great house and great location

Proximity to beach and Edisto favorite Whaley’s. The house was clean and updated. Spacious and comfortable. Host was east to communicate with and responsive. We had a great stay!

Relaxing break

My family wanted to go to the beach after Christmas for some r&r and Edisto echo was great. Check in and communication was great and easy. We would be arriving after the office closed and they were quick to respond and give us instructions. The house was perfect for our families needs and the location was amazing just a quick walk up the street and you have toes in the sand! We really enjoyed our time!

Weekend in Edisto

Overall the home matched the listing, was well cleaned and it was a simple 5 minute walk to the beach. We had an issue where we didn't have linens or towels our first night after being told we'd have those; they were dropped off in a bag the follow day after calling the management office and we had to make all the beds up ourselves. Definitely was not ideal given the nightly rate we paid. Other recommendation is it would be well worth the investment to get some furniture that better fits the living/dining room; the dining room table is about a foot from the couches and created cramped quarters.

Austin, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We value your feedback! We are pleased that your found Edisto Echo on Edisto Beach to be clean and conveniently located. We apologize again for the oversight with the linen package delivery. That program was rolled out to all homes that we mange on the weekend that you arrived. We are happy to report that the kinks have been worked out so the lack of linens will not be an issue for future stays. As we discussed with your wife, we have an after-hours emergency call service that is manned by local staff should you check-in/encounter any major emergencies or items missing that were included in the pre-arrival instructions. We do not make the beds at this time due to COVID precautions. Our linens and towels are professionally cleaned and sanitized by a company out of Charleston (45 minutes away) and we want guests to be able to rest assured that the linens are as fresh and safe as possible upon their arrival. We do unmake the beds upon departure in an effort to creat a check-out proccess that is as easy and stress-free as possible. We hope to add bed making to our services as industry best-practices allow. The homeowners have shared the optimal living/dining furniture set up with our staff so that we can ensure for the best use of space for future stays.
