Spacieux et luxueux 4/5 chambres (5Ăšme chambre / loft chambre d'enfants au-dessus du maĂźtre), 3 salles de bain, plan d'Ă©tage ouvert, maison de ville Marshside, situĂ© sur Jungle Road, et Ă  seulement quelques pas de la plage, planchers de chĂȘne dans les espaces de vie et les couloirs , salles de bains carrelĂ©es et chambres recouvertes de moquette.

Le premier niveau comprend une cuisine spacieuse avec des comptoirs en granit et des appareils en acier inoxydable; salon / salle à manger confortable avec cheminée, portes françaises vous accueillent pour profiter de la véranda avec vue sur le marais; une chambre queen avec terrasse accessible et salle de bain adjacente; le canapé-lit en cuir peut accueillir 2 adultes.

Le deuxiÚme niveau comprend un Master spacieux et une grande salle de bains avec douche, baignoire à jets et véranda privée avec vue sur le marais. Un escalier en colimaçon dans la chambre principale mÚne au grenier voûté, également avec vue sur le marais, pouvant accueillir 2 personnes. Une chambre avec accÚs à la terrasse, une autre chambre avec deux lits jumeaux, une salle de bain complÚte et une buanderie complÚtent le deuxiÚme étage.

Un parking couvert et pratique pour les voitures et les bateaux, et une douche extérieure pour laver le sable sont fournis sous la maison. Le systÚme d'eau R / O installé fournit de l'eau potable et une machine à glaçons. Le chauffe-eau sans réservoir garantit que vous ne manquerez jamais d'eau chaude !!

House was exactly as described, and perfect for our family of 4. Plenty of room, large common area, wonderful porches so everyone could spread out to read/relax. Location had a marsh view and just a short walk to the beach. Enjoyed seeing wildlife while walking our dog!

We had a last minute change to our vacation with family, we were able to find this house and get it booked. The home was perfect for our family. Michelle was very accommodating and even checked on us after check in, to make sure everything was good. The porches on this house were fantastic, cool breezes in the mornings and afternoons made for a very relaxing stay! We enjoyed our stay and look forward to booking this house in the future.

Host was very accommodating.

We had a great visit in Edisto for our son’s wedding. This house was a great location for the groom and his groomsmen. The bridesmaid house was right next door so it was perfect. Loved the location. If I could change one thing I would love if it came with linens. I had to rush to get beds made before everyone got there. Other than that it was fantastic!

Wonderful townhouse!

We absolutely loved this townhouse for the 4 wks we stayed in February. The owner was very responsive. The 4 decks (2 screened, 2 open) were wonderful. The master suite is very nice and all the bedrooms and beds were comfortable. Furniture in the open living provided plenty of comfortable seating. Fully stocked Kitchen could not have been better

Family Get away

This is the second year we have stayed at this property. The property is as described by owner. Very clean and well maintained we plan on returning next year..Love this part of the island very centrally located.

There are other options- not an inviting stay

This house was *just* fine. The main complaint was the cleanliness (needs a deep clean) and doesn’t include normal accoutrements you’re used to at a VRBO. Had to rent linens and this place was bare with no welcome anything to get you by before you make it to the store (no shampoo, no soap, no dish soap, no toilet paper, no towels). Decor needs updating as well as plumbing fixtures, tv in master, etc. Frequent VRBO customer and this house just isn’t up to par.

A Perfect Change of Plans

We originally had plans for a family weekend and pictures in the mountains, but Hurricane Helene did quite a bit of damage to the home and surrounding area where we planned to stay. Edisto Island was an easy alternative choice for a relaxing getaway, but it seemed impossible to coordinate last minute. I found "The Sweet Life" available, and Michelle was quick to respond. She made everything so easy! The home is beautiful and well stocked with kitchen items, the beds are comfortable, perfect location and just a quick walk to the beach. Our dogs enjoyed it as much as we did, we took long, leisurely Edisto walks and they came home and crashed on the porches in the breeze. We enjoyed our stay so very much, and all agreed, this will be an annual trip. You can't beat October in Edisto, and The Sweet Life house is perfect home away from home! Thank you again for accomodating us at such short notice, we'll be back!

Just as described

Beautiful home, conveniently located close to restaurants and not far from the beach. And it was pet friendly! Be prepared for a lot of steps, 16 to get to main level of home and then 16 more to get to second level. This didn’t cause us any problems but I just wanted to mention it for anyone who may have knee issues or any other limitations. We’re considering making this an annual vacation for the family and would definitely stay here again!

Family get away

House is wonderfully appointed. They description of the property and the house is extremely accurate. We loved the quiet street that the house is located on. With in walking distance to shops and restaurants ( 1 mile) and just blocks from the beach access....We had zero issues with the rental during this trip...

Great get away home

Check in was seamless and the owner responded promptly to questions we had. The unit is larger than pictured (and that’s a good thing!) and had everything we needed and then some. We’re planning on coming back next year and can’t wait.

Excellent Rental!

This property is beautiful! It has plenty of room and an excellent kitchen (& pantry!). The kitchen is well stocked and spacious. The air kept the house cool and we were very comfortable there the entire week! Would definitely rent here again. Thanks Michelle!

Peaceful Bliss

Great location and great property! My sister and I planned a girls long weekend retreat and this is the perfect place for it. We each had our own room and our own private outdoor quiet spots if we needed it. The master has a loft and I needed to work so the set up in the master was perfect for me. We each had our own bathroom. My friends loved the property. We all enjoy cooking so kitchen was stocked with tools for us to cook. Beds were comfortable. Proximity to the beach was 4-5 minute walk. The walk to get there was very pretty. So if you enjoy early morning quiet and watching the sunrise like me, this is a great spot. Same for sunset! The house is ideal for people driving in from home. For those flying in to the area I would not recommend this location. The contract states that you are required to bring your own bed linens. However, you are required to bring sheets, bath towels, floor towels, wash cloths, sponges, dish cleaner, bathroom and kitchen cleaning supplies, and a mop and bucket because the owner expects you to not only pick up after yourself and keep the property neat, the expectation is to clean the house like a paid cleaning professional would. I rent 2-3 times a year on VRBO and this is my first rental with these requirements. My friends were looking to get away from all home responsibilities for a weekend so they were not happy that on our check out day we had to get up at 6 AM for coffee and breakfast then clean for 3 hours because we had to be out by 10 AM since the documentation stated that we were subject to an inspection. The language was a bit too harsh and insulting . While I love this property and location I’m not sure that I would be able to sell my friends on another girls weekend trip to Edisto at this property.

We had vacationed for years to Edisto and we finally decided to purchase our own home. We believe there's no place like Edisto. Edisto has remained the same over the years and not become very commercialized . It is a very laid back family oriented island thus the lowcountry term Edislow. If you want lots to do Charleston is only an hour away. We believe if you give it a try you will not regret it.
