Location, location, location!

This 1948 craftsman style home is located in historic Navajo Park, 1 block off of Clearwater Bay and 4 houses from the infamous 57 mile walking, hiking and biking Pinellas Trail, 3 miles from Dunedin, and less than 1 mile from Sunset Point. Just a 2 mile drive to Clearwater Beach and 3 to the beaches at Honeymoon Island State Park. A true find!! When you pull up to the property, you will notice a gorgeous mural painted on the front of the house. This mural was painted by an artist to showcase some of the unique features of the house, such as the round window and the corner steel casement windows! It’s uniquely landscaped withFlorida plants such as Bird of Paradise and Hibiscus. There is a picket fence on either side of the front walkway. On the right is a lush landscape which provides privacy while sitting at and antique mosaic cement table on the 100 square foot stone patio. On the left side of the yard, you will notice a walkway made of oval quartz stepping stones which lead to the front door. When you enter through the screen door(great for a lovely breeze) and main door with a leaded glass window, you will be in the living room. The living room has laminate wood floors which are great when living in a beach area with sand! Original arches separate the living area from the bedroom and dining area. The living room has craftsman style steel casement corner windows, a leather couch with two wide recliners, two other separate recliners, bookshelf, tv, and a small wine bar. This is a comfortable spot to relax and watch tv together! To the left of the living room is a hallway which leads to one of the two full bathrooms and two bedrooms. The bathroom has original subway tiles which have been restored as well as a shower/ bathtub that has been nicely reglazed. Each of the two bedrooms have the original steel casement corner windows through which you look out upon lush Florida vegetation! There are a wide variety of birds in the area. You can bird watch right from your bed, if you so desire! There are floor to ceiling curtains for privacy when you feel like need it! Both rooms have new queen beds and are roomy enough to relax after a long day of vacationing. One of the rooms even has an office area IF you need to work! Past the living room are the dining room and kitchen. The dining room has a wall of steel casement windows for plenty of light and seating for six around a hightop table. The galley kitchen is compact, but fully equipped for all your cooking needs including a newer refrigerator, a gas stove and oven, a microwave, a dishwasher and disposal, coffee pot and lots of baking and cooking utensils. The counter tops are creatively designed and painted by the same artist as the mural. Past the dining room is a large addition which was added in the 80s. It includes a new full size washer and dryer, a full bathroom with a large walk-in shower, and a large bedroom with a new king size bed. From this bedroom is a private access door to a screened porch which can also be accessed through the front gate. This is a great spot for a meal or to rock and socialize. There is a swing and a dining table with seating for six. The backyard is completely fenced and has an additional outdoor table with an umbrella, chairs and a lounge chair. If you need more parking space, open the front gates and drive around to the back yard! Other things of note are the central heat and air for your comfort. Most of the neighbors are professionals who work at or away from home. Some are retirees. Everyone is very kind and friendly! The neighborhood is very walkable and pet friendly. This home is in the ideal location in the city of Clearwater and, as a result, close to several music venues, shopping, restaurants, marinas, markets, festivals, beaches, theaters, to name a few. The home is priced right for a vacation! There are many attractions so close. The Clearwater Marine Aquarium is wonderful for children and adults alike. Safety features include a Ring doorbell system, deadbolts, and exterior lighting. What more could you ask for?
