Grande maison relaxante sur 25 acres de bois privés avec accès au lac.

Spend a slow summer day walking the trails in the private forest, playing in the lake, and sipping ice tea on the deck. Or snowshoe for miles on the nearby trails and return to a warm fire and cocoa.
The house is not ADA compliant, but is designed to be friendly to guests with limited mobility. There is a first floor bedroom with a full size bed, near a bathroom with a low lipped shower with an integral marble bench.
The house is not directly on the lake. To access the lake you walk about 15 minutes on a forest path.

If you want the feeling of being in the woods while not being in the complete middle of nowhere, this place is ideal. We had beautiful views of the changing fall leaves. The space itself was clean and comfortable, great for sharing a meal and spending time with your group. The hosts have done a great job thinking through what guests will need and making sure it's available (I appreciated all the labels!) Plus paved roads (no dirt roads) to get there, and plenty of parking at the house. We'd definitely stay again!

Everything was AMAZING! The property is absolutely stunning! And Jim [the host] is the absolute best host we've ever experienced!!! We hosted our very small family wedding here, and we couldn't be more happy with how it turned out!

This was a great place to be with 5 grandchildren and their 4 parents. Space enough to hang out inside, and a nice rural location with shopping very close by. Lots of dishware available and supplies to make cooking there easy. We were cautious about venturing into the fields because of the tick situation, but I think if people stick to the paths to the lake they should be ok. All in all 95% positive!!

Great location and property!

Overall stay was great. Owner was very accommodating, great location close to grocery stores and restaurants, property was private and well kept. It was a great choice to celebrate a graduation, birthday and a family vacation over a weekend!

Graduation

Enjoyed our stay. My youngest daughter was graduating from school. So, our Arizona family traveled to Spencer where she lives and commutes to school in Boston. Nice set up for big groups who need individual space for families.

Nice for Family Gather

This was a nice place for my family to gather. Plenty of room for us to all be inside and plenty of space outside for the young ones to run around. Very nice kitchen and bathrooms. Clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable, but the bedding could use a bit of an upgrade. Over all a nice place to stay.

Awesome getaway location

Beautiful house and backyard. Great location if you are into kayaking and canoeing. The walk to the lake isn't that far- maybe a 7 minute hike. Would recommend 10/10

Great place

Very nice house. Everything is brand new, clean and thought through. There are even phone charging cords in the bedroom. Maybe not a big deal but what a nice touch.
