Fairway Pines Lodge is an inviting 2,000-square-foot log cabin on the 5th fairway of Superior National Golf Course. Minutes from Lutsen Mountains and a short walk to North Shore Winery, it offers an unbeatable location. Designed for year-round comfort with air conditioning—a rare North Shore feature—it’s the ideal home base for adventure or a peaceful retreat.

Winter Bookings: The driveway is on an incline and we strongly recommend a 4WD or AWD vehicle during the winter months. While snowmobile trailers are allowed, please note the driveway does not have room to turn around a trailer. Please also note the homeowners association does not allow for trailer parking on the road.

It is required to follow the fire pit rules, and all other HOA rules, which are found within the welcome booklet in the cabin.
Per county ordinance quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am. Enjoyment of the outdoor space is allowed past 10pm if noise does not disrupt any neighbors.
Guests over 10 will be charged $250/person/day. Guests are required to follow checkout procedures. Not following will cause additional charges.

Beautiful cabin, great location!

Beautiful, cozy cabin and just down the road from the ski hill! We had 7 adults and there was more than enough space for all of us. Perfect place to stay if you're looking to spend a weekend on the slopes!

An Amazing Lutsen Getaway

Lutsen Summer Vacation

My family has vacationed in the Lutsen area for over 30 years, and the VRBO was in a perfect location for all the activities we've enjoyed over the years. The cabin was everything we expected. Would definitely stay again.

Great place for friends to gather

We were up with a group of friends. We enjoyed hiking many trails during the day. Loved having a place to come back to and make dinner. We loved sitting around the fire in the evening and gazing up at all the stars. Wonderful weather and a great experience. This was our second time and we plan on coming back again.

Simply amazing

I went up with a group of guys for a ski trip. Literally a perfect property for our needs. The pictures don’t do it justice—incredible common space, comfortable beds, and great access to the slopes.

Annual women's adventure retreat with friends

We typically gather once a year for a nordic skiing adventure. With the lack of snow this year, Lutsen was a perfect location.....some of us went alpine skiing, we all went hiking on the Superior Hiking Trail. This lovely home was perfect for relaxing, making meals together and reconnecting.

Nice Lutsen Property

The home is well cared for and well equipped. Communication with the owners was very good. The house very comfortably sleeps six adults. The kitchen and common areas are great for entertaining. The game selection is excellent. We would definitely recommend for a weekend trip to the North Shore.

Great place in a great location.

We and our adult kids stayed for five days in February. We enjoyed skiing at Lutsen, Nordic skiing at Onion River trails, snowmobiled the many awesome trails, and a little hiking. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils that allowed us to have breakfast and dinner at the cabin. (lunch on the slopes and trails). Nice beds and bedrooms had plenty of storage for suitcases, etc. Enjoyed wine tasting at the North Shore Winery.

Fantastic

We stayed at Fairway Pines Lodge for 10 days and have made another reservation to stay again. The location just off Ski Hill Rd. and on Superior National Golf Course is fantastic. The home is equipped with quality kitchen items and the water is great for drinking (not always the case with homes on the North Shore). The porch is lovely for warm, breezy days. The owners are responsive and kind. It's easy to get comfortable here. Highly recommend.
