We had a wonderful stay! The location was great. It’s a beautiful property, clean and well cared for. The hosts were on top of all communication leading up to our stay and during. The facilities were awesome. We spent a lot of time at the pools. We will definitely be staying here again.

Our stay was great from start to finish. Dave and Kristin were very responsive to any questions we had and the place was exactly as advertised. Close proximity to indoor/outdoor pool area and just an overall great location in general and peaceful setting. Will definitely look to rent again.

Great place to enjoy a weekend of skiing. Many options to stay busy on and off the slopes. Pool and hot tub area was easy to access and nearby. Restaurant takeout was a quick walk away, too, on a night when we did not want to cook. Terrific and timely communication from the host.

Perfect location, really nice property. You can ski right out onto the trail that connects down to Moose Mountain (note that depending on skiers' experience/ability). Otherwise it's only a minute drive to the main base as well. You can walk to trails, a restaurant, and see the mountains from the condo. The owners were also accommodating and responsive. It's a great property, strongly recommend.

The lodging is ideally located for a true ski-in/ski-out experience. I last stayed in these units back in 2000, and while they have been well maintained, they are beginning to show their age.The kids really enjoyed the pool (not attached), and the adults appreciated the ability to prepare meals and take breaks as needed. The townhome is well equipped with pots, pans, a coffee maker, and other essentials.One area for improvement would be the kitchen lighting, which could be brighter. It also would have been nice to have access to the ski storage cabinet outside and the downstairs sauna, but unfortunately, both were unavailable during our stay.Overall, we had an enjoyable visit and would rent here again.

The host was very responsive. I was disappointed to arrive at 10 pm and have a full dishwasher of dishes to put away. Also, the condo is in need of some TLC. There is a black spot on the ceiling (looks like black mold from the upstairs bathroom) and 2 of the 3 toilets were very stained. There were no hot pads to use while cooking and no dish sponge/rag to do dishes. The space suited our family just fine, but for the area and the price, we had higher expectations.

Great location!

Location is amazing 10/10. We explored Lutsen, Grand Marais, and Tofte. We enjoyed the amenities on the resort as well including indoor/outdoor pool, outdoor game area, and restaurant. We were welcomed to the place by the previous users dirty dishes in the dishwasher. We would recommend a few updates to freshen up the place including new toilets (bowls are very stained), fresh bedding, fresh paint job. Overall was a great experience and the owners were easy to work with! We will be back Up North!

Weekend getaway!

We had a great weekend in Lutsen! The property was great for our family and had all the amenities we could need! We used the pool and hot tub, sauna and fitness center. The restaurant on site was great too with live music in the evenings as well. David was super easy to reach with questions and responded quickly to all of our questions!! Thanks for a great stay.

Girls Trip

The four of girls had a blast! We stopped at Black Sand Beach which was right on the way. During our stay we hiked at Cascade Falls, went to North Shore Winery, Grand Marias, and took the Gondola ride! We enjoyed playing the games that were at the VRBO and having our own sauna/spa night in. Thanks for the stay!

Great place to stay and play!

Stayed at this beautiful spot for a golf trip. The property is as described. In a great location and close to amenities. There was plenty of room for four guys to hang and the unit is well stocked. Kristin and David were great to work with and the check in process was easy and efficient. Thanks again!

We are a happily ever after couple who love the North Shore for different reasons. She loves the shopping, the winery, the breathtaking views, the breweries and the fresh air. He loves the trails, the skiing, the rugged bike trails and gravel roads (oh, and all the stuff that she loves too).

We are long time North Shore adventurers, exploring in every season. Some of our greatest outdoor memories were forged here on the ski trails (downhill and XC), the off-road bike trails, water falls and just kicking around in Grand Marais. This Lutsen location is so close to (or ON) the finest trails, paths and roadways this area has to offer. There is no better base camp for all your North Shore adventures!

We love our cozy townhome for the sights and the sounds that this northwoods location has to offer. The ever present whispering roar of the Poplar River. The chattering Aspens and swaying Jack Pines. The stars on a moonless night will take your breath away. The eery drumming of the Ruffed Grouse. Even the growl of the snow cats working in the dark to make tomorrow's trails perfect is a beautiful sound.
