Great place to enjoy a weekend of skiing. Many options to stay busy on and off the slopes. Pool and hot tub area was easy to access and nearby. Restaurant takeout was a quick walk away, too, on a night when we did not want to cook. Terrific and timely communication from the host.

Perfect location, really nice property. You can ski right out onto the trail that connects down to Moose Mountain (note that depending on skiers' experience/ability). Otherwise it's only a minute drive to the main base as well. You can walk to trails, a restaurant, and see the mountains from the condo. The owners were also accommodating and responsive. It's a great property, strongly recommend.

The host was very responsive. I was disappointed to arrive at 10 pm and have a full dishwasher of dishes to put away. Also, the condo is in need of some TLC. There is a black spot on the ceiling (looks like black mold from the upstairs bathroom) and 2 of the 3 toilets were very stained. There were no hot pads to use while cooking and no dish sponge/rag to do dishes. The space suited our family just fine, but for the area and the price, we had higher expectations.

Great location!

Location is amazing 10/10. We explored Lutsen, Grand Marais, and Tofte. We enjoyed the amenities on the resort as well including indoor/outdoor pool, outdoor game area, and restaurant. We were welcomed to the place by the previous users dirty dishes in the dishwasher. We would recommend a few updates to freshen up the place including new toilets (bowls are very stained), fresh bedding, fresh paint job. Overall was a great experience and the owners were easy to work with! We will be back Up North!

Weekend getaway!

We had a great weekend in Lutsen! The property was great for our family and had all the amenities we could need! We used the pool and hot tub, sauna and fitness center. The restaurant on site was great too with live music in the evenings as well. David was super easy to reach with questions and responded quickly to all of our questions!! Thanks for a great stay.

Girls Trip

The four of girls had a blast! We stopped at Black Sand Beach which was right on the way. During our stay we hiked at Cascade Falls, went to North Shore Winery, Grand Marias, and took the Gondola ride! We enjoyed playing the games that were at the VRBO and having our own sauna/spa night in. Thanks for the stay!

Great place to stay and play!

Stayed at this beautiful spot for a golf trip. The property is as described. In a great location and close to amenities. There was plenty of room for four guys to hang and the unit is well stocked. Kristin and David were great to work with and the check in process was easy and efficient. Thanks again!

Good ski lodge

Was a good stay. My boys were able to ski right from the lodge. I work in the vacation rental industry, and see a lot of units. Photos are exactly how the unit looked and felt. Our boys had the basement to themselves, and all were comfortable.

Several issues with unit that need to be addressed by owner/mangers including cleanliness issues with dirty towels, dirty living room behind chairs and in pullout bed, toilet issues in each of the 3 bathrooms, super humid downstairs to where carpet felt wet. Great location!

Location was great and nice to have a restaurant to walk to on the property. The condo was cozy and had a nice layout. It was a little dated and the upstairs bathroom shower was clogged so we had to use the downstairs shower. We did report this and maintenance was to be notified but we never heard anything back again from maintenance before we left the property. Otherwise everything was fine and we enjoyed our stay!

No complaints. The unit is as-advertised. It was clean and had everything we needed to cook meals as well as warm up with a fire and in the sauna after a day in the cold. We would book it again.

Disappointment

We were greeted with leftover food in the frig and cupboard, a toilet that didn’t work, and a general feel of less than clean. Which was too bad, because the place could have been nice. Space was good, location was good… it just felt tired and dingy

We are a happily ever after couple who love the North Shore for different reasons. She loves the shopping, the winery, the breathtaking views, the breweries and the fresh air. He loves the trails, the skiing, the rugged bike trails and gravel roads (oh, and all the stuff that she loves too).

We are long time North Shore adventurers, exploring in every season. Some of our greatest outdoor memories were forged here on the ski trails (downhill and XC), the off-road bike trails, water falls and just kicking around in Grand Marais. This Lutsen location is so close to (or ON) the finest trails, paths and roadways this area has to offer. There is no better base camp for all your North Shore adventures!

We love our cozy townhome for the sights and the sounds that this northwoods location has to offer. The ever present whispering roar of the Poplar River. The chattering Aspens and swaying Jack Pines. The stars on a moonless night will take your breath away. The eery drumming of the Ruffed Grouse. Even the growl of the snow cats working in the dark to make tomorrow's trails perfect is a beautiful sound.
