Get away from life's distractions!



The Space:

Located bayside in the heart of Crystal Beach, The Mango Hut is close to local restaurants and the Big Store. Since the majority of the home is on ground level, this is a perfect space for those who have difficulty navigating stairs. Watch horses graze across the street, or enjoy the sunset from the outdoor patio.



The home has cozy living room seating and a full kitchen, stocked with all you need to prepare a home cooked meal. Bedroom one, located on the ground level, features a queen bed. Bedroom two, located upstairs, features 4 twin beds and 1 queen. For your convenience, there is also a washer and dryer located on-site.



This home is perfect for small families looking to have a simple beach getaway. There is no internet available, so you will need to bring a “hot spot” if Wifi is a must-have, but it's a great location for spending time together with family and disconnecting from the world.



If you need more space, rent "The Bunk House" next door with additional sleeping for 8.



No pets are allowed. All Swedes Real Estate vacation rentals are non-smoking properties. Swedes does not rent to guests under 25 years of age.

The homeowner does not provide linens and towels, but, if you choose, they are available upon request from our linen service (additional fee applies).

Great vacation home

Loved the coziness of the house. Was a excellent amount of space. Was at a good area, close to the beach and everything you will need store wise.

House was older but charming but was a lot of roaches and the Freezer on the refrigerator didn't wor

It got the Job done but was quite a few little things The wind how do the windows Something knocking on outside of the house keep use up all night will not get that home again but will use Swedes again

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, for the price it was great and served our needs. Friends live on the same street. Love ground level access. House was very musty smelling when we arrived but improved as the A/C’s ran cooler. Recommend doing that earlier to guests arrival. Porch area nice. Very roomy living area. No wine glasses available and there was no dish soap or hand soap at bathroom sink. Never read where you had to bring it. Had to borrow from my friend. Recommend a bigger cutting board and get a spatula.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Due to a recent hurricane and significant rain, the septic tank had overflowed when we arrived for our stay. The host was fabulous in responding immediately and refunded our money in full. The place is really cute, but could use some work on the air conditioners, which did not work well and were very dirty. It was unfortunate that they did not check the property prior to our arrival to ensure all was functional. I would recommend they inspect each property prior to guests arrival.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property holds many amenities: full kitchen equipped with dishes, utensils, spices and cookware. There are multiple beds with a first-floor master bedroom. The down side was that the master bedroom mattress was uneven and the air conditioner in that room was quite noisy. The house smelled a littlle musty and mildewy. The house provided toilet paper but no other paper goods nor linens, unless you choose to pay extra. Bring your own pillows for a more comfortable sleep.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Swedes houses before and have always been so happy with everything! This house was really cute however it was not clean, bugs all over the floors, bras left stuffed between the mattress and the wall, counter, shower and toilet was nasty.
