The house itself is fine. It had everything we needed and fit our family perfect. There were plenty of towels and the house was clean. The location is a different story. Although we didn’t have any problems during our stay, it was in a very sketchy area of town and felt uneasy just walking out the door. I feel like the location accuracy of this property should be updated in the listing. Other than that, we had a good stay while we were there for the weekend.

Remember it’s a pet friendly home so if your allergies are sensitive this isn’t the home for you. Other than that the home was great and in proximity of everything we needed.

Great Stay!

The house was clean and updated. We were a little concerned about the area, but we had no problems. The hosts were very prompt when communicating. Overall a great stay! I would come back there if I ever came back to Birmingham.

Nice Interior questionable Exterior.

The home was nice overall. My only issues were the random bugs. They weren't a major problem but if bugs aren't your thing, you might have issues. My toilet seat bolt was broken which caused the seat to be unstable. The toilet paper dispenser was broken and just sitting on the shelf. I didn't like the fact that I had no control of the ac. I messaged the property manager and did not get a response.

Very clean property

Enjoyed my stay. The property was very clean. My only wish would be that it was closer to UAB (was about 15 minute drive…give or take).

Definitely will book Again

The stay was amazing and my Dad said “I’m definitely gonna book here again, I really liked this,” That means a lot cause he is hard to please sometimes. It was just as the pictures and the host stayed connected and responsive every time I sent a message.

Our stay was fair. It was clean when we arrived and the perfect size for my family of 6. What I did not like was the rough area, bugs everywhere outside, bugs in the inside including roaches and ants you will see roach traps all through the house we kilt two of them not trying to take them home, the shower water don’t get hot and you will have chores to do. I don’t want to pay a lot of money for a night or two too clean /take out trash when I pay for cleaning. The owner is very nice and answered all my questions with no problem.

A cozy clean place

The outside is simple but the inside is so warm and welcoming. It was clean and comfortable with a perfect lay out. I highly reccomend this cute place if you are visiting the area.

I enjoyed my stay. Renovations make the inside a must see. Don’t judge the book by its cover. As we got closer to the home, the appearance of the neighborhood swayed my wife and son. Before we could look at the inside, she decided to stay at the hotel that my sons baseball team was staying in. I grew up on the other side of town (West End), so I was not disturbed by the appearance of the surrounding area. After getting them checked in, I went back to the home and was pleasantly surprised. The house was neat, clean and stocked with everything I needed to make my stay comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and conveniently located near everything I needed. Definitely recommend staying here.

The house was the perfect size for our family of 4. All of the appliances worked well. Driveway was tough for one of our cars to get in and out of.

Work trip

Property was centrally located to everywhere we needed to be in the Birmingham metro. Quiet neighborhood. Property not fully fenced in so if bringing a dog be mindful of that but we were able to put a gate on the side that was not fenced in and it worked perfectly. Air conditioning works great to beat the heat.

Great weekend in Alabama. The property was comfortable and exactly as advertised. Communication with the owner was prompt and friendly. Looking forward to coming back to visit. We would book again.
