Spring Break Trip

We enjoyed the house, pool and hot tub! There’s a nice trail close by to walk or ride bikes to the Sundial bridge.

A Children's Delight

The children enjoyed their time in the pool and playing in the yard. (We brought our own croquet set and water badminton game.) We had privacy. The neighborhood was safe and well-kept, as was the house. Communication by the owner was clear, courteous and prompt.

Great place for a family

This was a wonderful place to stay. The neighborhood was very quiet, the pool and hot tub were fun, and it was close to everything we needed in Redding.

Really Great Family Getaway

We came to Redding for the first time over our kids spring break and we were very impressed with this house. It felt like an old friend’s house who was just not home yet. The beds were comfortable, the whole house was well stocked, there were games and toys for the kids, and the location was perfect. Also, we really appreciated the private backyard and the fact my kids could play and swim in a safe friendly neighborhood. We hope to come back someday!

Great home for Families

The home was very clean - and the pool was a big hit with the kids!! The pool was amazing- the beds were very comfortable!! Only one thing - needs more cooking utensils in the kitchen!! Overall a very good stay!!

The amenities overall were in good condition. There were a few things that were not good about the property. One there was a huge rain storm, which we knew about one of the reasons we were there because my parents house was flooded. When you got to the front door the gutter is definitely need to be replaced as a waterfall basically was coming down from the gutters to get to the front door and on the side of the I’m gonna call it the middle bedroom by the bathroom. Also rain coming down from the gutters hitting a storage cushion unit I would say the toilet and the hall bath needs to be replaced or fixed as it kept running You definitely had to jiggle the handle every time after use And the chairs that they have next to the arcade game average sized male sat in it and fell directly to the floor. The kitchen where pots pans anything like that there wasn’t much there to use. We actually brought things from my parents house extra as there was no sharp knives so lock in the silverware and or every day baking utensils that you would need to or cooking utensils that you would need to use knowing that we’re gonna be there for a week. This is a house, not a hotel so expected a little bit more the amenities in the kitchen. it is definitely a loved house, painting could be done throughout the house. The last would be the TV , great that it was a smart TV bad no local stations, could not watch local news and or football. The garage also smelled like smoke and the filters need replaced

Given the purpose of the stay (to help elderly person with recovery from medical procedure), this was enough house, but not too much. Just right.

Relaxing Getaway

Love it when the VRBO meets all your hopes. The hosts are great with any communication needs. This place is CLEAN! It is a spacious updated home. The pool and hot tub are both well maintained. There is a great path along the river for a morning walk to the Sundial bridge. The neighborhood is nice and very quiet. Close to downtown and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and hope to rent this place again.

Great Experience

Pool was best part of the house, especially on a hot sunny day. House is in a great location. If you plan on cooking, pls bring your own basic supplies like oil, salt, sugar. Bath tub could be cleaner (water is slow to drain) but overall not a big deal in grand scheme of things. Great stay, would come back again.

Great house, great location.

We brought our two sons to California for a week to visit various state parks and whatnot. We stayed here the second half of the week and it was a great location for what we planned on doing. We didn't spend a whole lot of time at the house because we were mostly out sight seeing but when we were at the house we enjoyed it. The pool was a definite plus on a hot Redding summer day. The boys and I thought the beds were comfortable, my wife disagreed but she tends to be picky. There's still a lot we didn't get to see so hoepfilly we can book it again if we get the chance to go back!
