Coastal Cottage is located in Pirates Beach, and is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sound of the waves crashing into the sandy beaches of Galveston's West End. Sitting only four houses from the beach, you can be enjoying the sand and sun in no time. Coastal Cottage features an amazing deck with a partial beach view for outdoor seating. The inside of the home is full of beachy charm and includes a large kitchen with a dining room with a table for eight and plenty of seating in the adorable living area. This home also includes a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer. Please note this home is not pet friendly. No trailers or RV's allowed. || Ground Level: No garage access; Parking for 4 vehicles only; Charcoal BBQ grill. || Main Level: Deck, plenty of seating and partial ocean views. Large spacious living room, kitchen, dining room, and additional bar top seating. King room with own full bathroom. Two rooms with 1 Queen in each room. Hallway bathroom. Downstairs area: Large room with bunk beds and queen bed. Full bathroom. Laundry room.
Location: 2 minutes to the beach; 9 mile drive to 61st Street; 12 mile drive to 25th & Strand; 8.2 miles to Moody Gardens/Schlitterbahn Waterpark. Notes: Although provided, WiFi access/Cable/Dish service can be unreliable here on the West End of Galveston Island. We apologize, but Gary Greene Vacation Rentals is unable to guarantee these amenities will be working during your stay and is unable to offer refunds for disruption of these services. Loved being so close to beach. The house was awesome and stocked with all the conveniences of home. The downstairs room was a little warm but tolerable. Wish there was more than 1 bath towel per person but we made it work. Loved our week here.

Summer stay
The house is awesome and super close to beach. The downstairs play room was great for the kids. Only feedback for a more comfortable stay was to have a few more trash bags and wash rags for kitchen utensils. We ran out halfway through our stay. Other piece of feedback was the patio under the house outside the ground floor room was not consistent with light at night. The motion sensor wouldn’t stay on for too long and wouldn’t always catch out movement. If there were string lights hanging or a single light that stayed on, then that could have helped the kids. Little bits but otherwise the house was awesome and wouldn’t mind staying there again.

What a gem!
Gorgeous ocean views from the master bedroom and front deck yet shielded from the wind by the home next door. Beautifully decorated. The living room is large and the oversized couch and various dining areas are perfect for the whole family. Kitchen is very well appointed with all you will need - in fact we hosted Thanksgiving dinner and wanted for nothing. We will definitely be back.
