Nestled in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains sits this traditional Southwestern adobe casita, named Casa De Lorena.

Originally built in 1900, your 1BR condo pairs old-world charm with modern upgrades - including a wood-burning kiva fireplace with a banco bench, Mexican tile, stained glass windows, vigas ceiling beams, and a private garden patio with a covered portal. Rustic and quaint, Casa De Lorena is a great spot to call home during your time in Santa Fe!

A prime location in the Historic Eastside, just 2 blocks from downtown, offers easy access to a hub of activity. Stroll the picturesque half-mile Canyon Road with its art galleries, specialty shops, and eclectic dining, or venture to the nearby historic Plaza -- both located less than 6 blocks away.

LIVING AREA

Sprawl out on the full-size futon sleeper sofa in the living room and watch the cable TV. An additional armchair offers a relaxing seat next to the wood-burning fireplace.

A quaint study provides a peaceful respite with a desk and floor-to-ceiling bookshelves.

KITCHEN & DINING

The well-equipped kitchen features vibrant Mexican tile backsplash and quality appliances - including an electric stove/oven and dishwasher for easy cleanup.

Enjoy festive vacation meals together at the dining room table for two.

BED & BATH

This condo includes one bedroom and a full-size futon sleeper sofa that sleeps three total.

The bedroom is outfitted with a queen bed, a TV, and a walk-in closet. French doors open to a private garden patio. The bathroom includes a beautifully tiled tub/shower combination.

OUTDOOR AREA

The private patio features a covered portal with a bistro table, two chairs, and a grill for home-style cookouts. Enjoy a refreshing beverage and unwind after a fun-filled day exploring Santa Fe.

EXTRA AMENITIES & DETAILS

Parking is available for one vehicle in the reserved parking area. A washer/dryer and complimentary Wi-Fi are provided.

This unit does not have air conditioning. Although rarely needed, two cooling fans provide plenty of air circulation.

LOCATION

Your rental commands a prime location, just 2 blocks from downtown and 3 blocks from Canyon Road with over a hundred fine art galleries, boutiques, and exquisite dining in the Historic District. Walk 6 blocks to the heart of Santa Fe and admire the historic Plaza, where a central park hosts Indian and Spanish markets, concerts, and annual events.

Savor morning coffee at nearby Downtown Subscription, indulge in Mexican fare in a historic adobe at Cafe Pasqual’s, or share a slice on the patio at Rooftop Pizza. Savor sweet treats including handmade gelato at Ecco Espresso & Gelato or French flavor at Bouche Bistro.

Our home is walk-able to Kaune's Neighborhood Grocery Store as well.

This casita is located close to the center of town, in a quiet old neighborhood. It has a private patio. There was a plumbing issue during our stay which was resolved promptly by the management company.

Quiet perfect walkable location with lots of living space including small study and wonderful private back patio garden space. Lots of character. Great to have a parking space connected with the casita. We stayed 8 days and had everything we needed. We hope someday to come back!

Cozy, quiet, spacious. Can be a bit dark inside in the day but a lovely space overall and incredible location. I did have to have a friend come light the pilot light on the heater though. A bit of a pain. So check that when come in. Also, the heater in bedroom does not work (only the one in lounge), but there is a powerful portable heater that suffices.

Garcia Street is GREAT!

Casita was exactly as listed with easy walking access to Canyon Road, the Rail Yard, and Plaza. The rental was clean and cozy with every item you could possibly need for your stay. I look forward to renting again. Thank you for a great Santa Fe stay!

Lovely adobe condo

Very comfortable rental with thoughtfully selected southwest art on a charming historic street. The thick adobe walls kept me cozy in heavy snow, and the kitchen was very well appointed. I would love to return.

Perfect Santa Fe accommodations

This place is GORGEOUS!!!! The gardens are amazing, there are roses, rosemary, apple trees and much more adorning the cobblestone path. There was also an outdoor patio off the master that enjoyed. This little apartment was so authentic to the style of Nee Mexico, I will come back!!

Great location and value

Absolutely perfect!

My partner and I flew in from London to stay here for ten days. We’re jetset, well traveled and in our 40’s and rate this as one of the best spots we’ve ever stayed. Spotless, perfect location, quiet, romantic, spacious, dreamy. Close to the plaza and canyon toad, two televisions, private, comfortable bed, great private back patio. Everything was charming and we can’t rate this place highly enough. Great value for money too. Would love to stay again.

Sweet one-bedroom in a great location

This one bedroom home was everything we needed and more. It was perfectly located two blocks from downtown and other attractions as well. It was charming, clean, and well appointed, with washer/ dryer, dishwasher, and patio with a charcoal grill. Our trip was in May so the absence of an air conditioner was not an issue. We would return here anytime. We're in Santa Fe!

Authentic Santa Fe Experience

We wanted an adobe type rental in/near the historic area, and this rental fit our needs perfectly. It has the character of a 1900 adobe with most of the modern conveniences expected. Our visit was in April, so air conditioning was not needed. The kitchen was well equipped, the Villa was quiet, and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed evenings on the patio, and the location is so convenient to most everywhere we wanted to go.

Great location, walk anywhere. Classic casita with modern kitchen. We stayed 20 days and never tired of it. Would easily return providing the digital access lock is replaced. Does not work, fortunately there was a backup key.

Cute place but terrible entry system

We travel and use VRBO’s a ton and this was the first time we had ever had this much trouble accessing a home. They use a keyless entry with code. Did not work several times and if we did not have a cell phone to call for assistance to reset code we would have been locked out
.place is comfortable and cute backyard for your dog. Area is hard to walk to the Plaza since side walks in the area are not complete. They did not provide COFFEE or Kleenex for guests. They have everything else you need to cook, Their heater system was a mystery

 could not get it to work and It was needed . Convenient location and we love Santa Fe to visit!

Wonderful casita with poor door access

The Casita was beautiful, quiet, and in a historic neighborhood. It was well-stocked. As there was no air-conditioning, keeping the unit cool at night involved opening windows, which might be as problem for some guests. Wifi was excellent. The one issue was the complicated door access, which required entering 10 digits on a very small keypad every time you wanted to enter. Worse, the code only worked about half the time, requiring standing outside and contacting Turnkey by cell phone. While the staff was responsive, we went through 5 different codes. Finally we got the physical key and then didn't need to worry about getting in. I recommend using a different access system.

Cute but darker than the pictures

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived in the dark, the light over the door was out, and the key code didn’t work, so we stood in the dark for a while waiting for a new code. They came later to replace the light bulb. The place is cute, with a lovely private patio off the bedroom. However, the door to the patio opens only part way, so you have to shimmy between the bed and the door to get out. The bed is hard as a rock. The pillows were thin and crunchy - yes, crunchy. It is darker than the pictures show.

Good location, no internet, awful customer service

We checked in on 12/30 and emailed saying that the wifi was down, then on 12/31 I called the help center who said someone would be at the property within a few hours. On 1/1 and 1/2 the call center said someone was on their way to fix it. Not until 1/3 after asking to speak with a manager, did someone actually come. This person left us with a broken hotspsot and admitted he had no idea how to do anything related to tech. Apparently the last two renters had also reported the same problem. I run my own business and can't take meetings in busy areas so I lost out on business. The call center in the Caribbean was of no help. Had they told us no one was coming, I could've made alternate plans but because they kept assuring us that someone was on the way, we stayed home to talk to the repair person.
