Private location with spectacular river and mountain views!

Our extremely energy efficient home is located in a very private country area with beautiful views of the Androscoggin River and the White Mountains. It's a very peaceful setting. The large deck on the back of the house looks over the river. The location is only a few miles to the picturesque town of Bethel, ME which has restaurants, gift shops, a Post Office, a pub, a grocery store, a movie theater, a mineral museum and hardware store.

The house has a master suite that includes a king sized bed, two closets, and a private bathroom. The second bedroom has a twin - that pulls out to a king, a small desk, a closet, and a TV.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything that you will need to cook. The guest bathroom includes a shower, a vanity, a toilet, and a washer and dryer.

The open concept living area has one sofa, two chairs, a TV, a kitchen island with three stools, a dining area, and a desk area.

The total size of the house is 1400 sq. ft.

Within an hour of the house are some of the finest hiking trails, skiing, and other outdoor recreational activities in all of New England.

The house is perfect for a peaceful, romantic getaway!

Beautiful and peaceful

We came for a week’s vacation and had an excellent time! The house is beautiful and very well equipped, with a beautiful view on the river. Lots of family activities within 1h drive. Would definitely recommend.

Host greeted us and walked through property to make sure we had everything we needed. Even had a few things for breakfast available. Easy to cook & grill at this vrbo. Kitchen was well stocked.

We have spent 1- and 2-week vacations in Maine for almost 20 years, and all four of us agree that this is the nicest house we have stayed in. The view from the living room is spectacular, looking down at the Androscoggin River and the mountains to the west. The house has two very comfortable bedrooms; the primary has an adjoining bathroom, while the other is close to the bathroom which has the washer and dryer. The house itself is beautifully designed and built, and the host provided us with everything we could need, and even had some breakfast food available when we arrived. We enjoyed trips into Bethel, finding great little pubs and restaurants, a pottery studio, a museum, etc. There are many hiking trails only a few miles from the house, and several outdoor attractions (other trails and waterfalls) only minutes away. We hope to vacation here again in the near future!

Perfect Bethel Get Away

We were headed to Bethel for a couple of days of hiking. Scott’s place on the Androscoggin River fit our bill perfectly. The house is two miles from downtown and close to numerous hiking trails. We were very impressed with everything about the house. From the house the views of the river were spectacular. If ever in the area in the future we would definitely love to rent this property again.

Bethel Gem

We had the pleasure of staying at this home for the month of February where we used as home base for a ski house. Little did we know about how much more it was. Its scenic location, breathtaking views and sunrise/sunsets are what calendars are made from. The house was modern, very well kept, had everything we needed to make it feel like home. Very clean, just perfect for what we were looking for. The drive to the mountain was only 15-20 min pending traffic, and downtown Bethel even closer. The only thing better than the house was the host, who always was available and checked in regularly on our stay and if we had any needs. 5 starts all around. Would definitely stay here again!

Ein Traum wurde war.

Ein exklusives Haus am Fluß. In diesem Haus fehlt es an nichts. Eine gerĂ€umige Garage vor der TĂŒr. Die Technik vom Feinsten. Die Ausstattung perfekt. Alles sehr hochwertig. Die Dekoration zurĂŒckhaltend aber mit ausgesucht schönen Dingen gestaltet. Wir haben die AusflĂŒge in die White Mountains genossen und uns aber auch jedesmal wieder auf "unser zuhause" gefreut.

Great stay!

I would 100% recommend. The view alone is amazing! Great place to unwind and get away from it all. Scott's place is super clean and comfortable. He even met us during check in to give us a tour of the house. The house is close Bethel and everything the region has to offer.

A Little Paradise

I cannot say enough good things about this amazing home and wonderful owners. The location is a perfect distance to summer hiking, kayaking on the river, a community garden, great places to eat, buy food, local shopping, Sunday River and even the local airport. And if none of those appeal to you, simply spending time at the house is relaxing enough. For me, the home itself was my kind of dream home. The set up makes you feel comfortable right away, and the house is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The owners are incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating, and made sure I was settled and comfortable for the stay. I can say that I was relaxed and fully enjoyed every second of the completely stress free stay, and I hope that I will be able to return many more times in the future!
