Gather & Relax at Whispering Pines Cabin!

Gather and relax in this spacious log cabin! Perfect place to get away from it all! Inside all the comforts of home -enjoy games in the Game Room, enjoy a glass of wine on the wrap around porch or watch a movie in Media Room. Kitchen is well-appointed and looks out onto spacious deck with view. After a hike, enjoy the new hot tub off the patio. Whispering Pines Cabin is the perfect place for family gatherings, weekend with friends or just to get away from it all.
At night be sure to look up-the stars are AMAZING! Or take a look while sitting by the new fire pit - bring your s'mores!
There are some little critters (no bears) around, and a local flock of wild turkeys. We do have 1 security camera, pointed towards the driveway. The deer seem to like to hang out there a bit!

Excellent! The reviews are accurate. The host is either in the hospitality business or has been renting for quite some time because everything has been well thought out & provided for. Between the homey touch of holiday decor, the cleanliness, extra amenities like towels for the hot tub & a well stocked kitchen. Thanks for a great stay.

We stayed for two weeks over the Holidays and had an amazing time. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, the house was decorated for Christmas, and the hosts were very thoughtful. There were a lot of extra touches like messages with suggestions, reminders of where to find salt for potential bad weather, and sending someone to service the hot tub the day before we arrived and in the middle of our stay. The location is away from any traffic and it is very peaceful sitting on the deck stargazing. We hope to return in the future!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. Really could not have asked for a better place for our three generation family weekend. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and the ping pong tournament in the game room. Porch was lovely for peaceful morning coffee. Rooms were comfortable, kitchen well equipped and house was decorated so beautifully for the fall season. Host was super responsive and helpful. All in all a great experience. We can’t wait to do it again!

Family Wedding Gathering

This was the perfect cabin for our family. We were able to relax and enjoy the cabin, hot tub and beautiful scenery after busy wedding schedules. The cabin provided everything we could possibly need. Highly recommend !!!

Mollie was super communicative which was really appreciative. We enjoyed our weekend stay and the house was great for 3 families with 3 kids (4 months - 3.5 years). The only issues we had1) A hot tub tech had to come out and informed us the hot tub hadn't been cleaned in two weeks. He said it could be used again. The husbands had already used it night 1 and thought the smell was a sewage issue. They skipped the night of the cleaning and used it the next (last) night. They now have skin irritations unfortunately. 2) The propane for the grill was left on from (assuming) the last guests. A bit of a concern.3) The water had a smell to it. We were able to drink it from the Brita, but next time we will bring bottled water.4) Beds are rock hard. This was mainly an issue for me being 29 weeks pregnant but my 21 month old and husband also struggled sleeping on it (plus the other guests in theirs as well). Just something to note for those who do not sleep well on firm mattresses and may need to bring something for them. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our trip and the space/lay out was exactly what we were looking for.

Amazing place for a family gathering!

My family from different states gathered at Whispering Pines, the cabin was perfect. It had everything that we could possibly need, Mollie responded quickly to all my questions and was so gracious. I would love to come back and recommend this cabin.

Perfect Weekend Getaway!

Beautiful home with an excellent host for 6 long time friends to celebrate a late Christmas together! There couldn’t have been a more perfect property accommodation wise or location wise. We hope to rent here again next year!

Great family vacation!

Seven of us met up from four different states. A great house for a great family vacation. Very clean, and comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. Recommend this house for privacy in the woods but close enough to Asheville for a day trip.

Perfect Mountain Escape & close to Jellystone Park

We came in from Charlotte with our two young kids ( 8 & 1) and out of state family from the Midwest. Let me just say the pictures do not do justice to this cabin and property. Beautiful, comfortable and so clean! The beds and linens were comfortable and there was plenty of seating for everyone. Both adults and kids enjoyed the game room and movie room. We spent 2 days at Jellystone Park that offered day passes and it was a short 4-minute drive from the cabin. We even took a day trip to Forest City where the kids enjoyed an old school arcade. The host was very communicative throughout our stay. The hot tub was clean and so nice to enjoy at the end of the day. Would definitely recommend and will stay again!

Family getaway

We had a wonderful long weekend at the cabin. Our favorite things were sitting in the hot tub, rocking on the deck, using the movie room and playing pingpong. The cabin had everything we needed and lots of little things to make it special. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful mountain house

Our family loved this beautiful home and are looking forward to future visits. The game room, movie room, hot tub, and views were an added bonus. Highly recommend a visit to Forest City where there are several shops and great places to eat and visit. The house is off the beaten path, but very easy to access.

Mountain Retreat Wonderful

The home is remote in the woods and quiet and so peaceful. Little out from town but if you want quiet this is it. Game room and hot tub and just beautiful home.

Luxury and serenity in the mountains

The cabin is located in a private environmentally friendly setting. It offered a peaceful rejuvenating retreat after several days of traveling. The host provided healthy snacks and coffee making it easy to settle in and enjoy the wonderful views from the expansive deck. The rustic decor and spotless interior was designed for comfort and enjoyment. Our family enjoyed the downstairs movie and game area after a day outdoors. Communication was excellent and the tranquil beautiful setting is the perfect retreat for outdoor, eco friendly families. We looked forward each day to walking scenic trails and spotting deer and song bird and watching hummingbirds fly by. Sitting on the deck at night stargazing under clear skies was a bonus to enjoy every evening. We are looking forward to returning and highly recommend this cabin.

Great host with a beautiful mountain setting cabin!

The house is beautiful and well maintained. The wrap around porch was amazing, and it included gates so the dog and little ones were safe while out there. Each bedroom was comfortable and very roomy. There was more than enough room for our party of 6 adults, 4 kids, and 1 dog. Mollie was an amazing host and helped us get through a difficult time during hurricane Helene. I would recommend this cabin to anyone!

Beautiful getaway!

Mollie’s cabin is absolutely beautiful. Great views of the mountains, very clean, and well kept. My friends and I had a great time golfing around local spots and hiking South Mountain. The kitchen is well equipped if cooking at the house and there’s a great game room downstairs. I would definitely recommend this cabin to my friends and family.

Lovely Getaway

The pictures of this house don’t do it justice — it is very well maintained, clean and stocked with everything needed for a relaxing, cozy stay. The host was very helpful and communicative when needed. The only downside to the location is that most grocery stores are at least 30 minutes away, so make sure to stock up prior to checking in if you don’t want to have to venture out. All in all, we had a great stay! Adults and kids all had a blast and we spent a lot of time in the game room, movie room and hot tub. Great place to get away!

Owning a cabin in the mountains has been a dream for us! We wanted to find a place for our family to gather and spend time together and create memories. Growing up, family gatherings and Sunday dinners created the best of times!

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

As you drive up the private lane, you will start to know why we love this space! Enjoy your coffee on the deck with the birds singing or start the day with a peaceful hot tub. At night, the tree peepers will serenade you. Roast your marshmallows by the fire pit. There is a magic in the trees that makes it hard to leave.

whispering Pines cabin offers an opportunity for families to get together. We are on 4 acres on a private lane. Go hiking at South Mountains, take a drive to Tryon or Lake Lure, or grab a book or movie and be lazy. The choice is yours!
