Escape to Lake Chatuge! Stunning views of the mountains and lake!

As your day begins, savor a delicious cup of coffee while soaking in the breathtaking sunrise from one of the two decks that provide stunning views of Lake Chatuge and the North Georgia Mountains. Your outdoor adventures can be filled with excitement as you have a short 5-minute drive to Lake Chatuge for a variety of water activities or choose to hike one of the numerous mountain trails that lead to some of the most picturesque waterfalls in North Georgia. While your barbecue is cooking on our pellet grill, take advantage of the newly renovated Pickleball courts in Hiawassee for a fun and active game.

After a long day of adventures spoil yourself with a glass of wine and immersive yourself with the beauty that surrounds the property and allow the kids to partake in a game or two of ping pong and when you are finally ready to retire for the evening, sink into one of a king size beds located in each of the main level bedrooms, a queen size bed downstairs and for the extra guest there is a very comfy blow up mattress. The modern rustic interior includes all the modern necessities including smart tv’s, free wifi, a smart gas fireplace and usb/wireless charging lamps. INTERIOR FEATURES
Our recently renovated cabin provides a well equipped kitchen with electric stove, 12 cup coffee maker, pots and pans, cutlery, wine glasses, beer mugs, strainer, toaster and a blender and many other kitchen essentials. The outdoor Gorilla Pellet Grill offers easy grilling and our complimentary coffee bar includes French Market ground coffee, stevia packets and creamer pods. The dining room table sits 4 people, but can easily extend to comfortably sit 6-7 people, there are additional dining chairs located on the lower level.

We had an incredible five night stay at this property. The house was clean, and comfortable for five adults. We reached out with one issue (the air mattress had a hole) late one night, expecting to hear back in the morning and the host responded right away with help finding the repair kit. We ended up just bunking up together, as there were enough big beds for our group, but the host is VERY responsive. The book left for guests has all the information necessary and was clearly laid out so we didn’t have any issues. The views over the lake are outstanding, and we spent most of our time on the porch. We did venture out some for local hikes and shopping, the area has so many options. The stay was amazing!

The view cannot be beat! Nice cabin. Blackout curtains and binoculars are a nice touch. Very responsive host. We had a little issue with seeing a few roaches the first night but she responded quickly and apologetically and got pest control to come. A little dusty on baseboards, etc., but we would stay here again. The view alone is so worth it!

The perfect place!

All good things to say about this property. Clean, and not cluttered like some places are. Plenty of room. Comfortable beds. Great shower heads. Great deck, part covered, part uncovered, and part screened. Wonderful. Amazing view. Perfect location to Hiawassee and Blairsville where all my favorite restaurants and trails are. And a garage to park in

Beautiful spot to relax

We had a great stay at this property over the Thanksgiving holiday. The view is simply spectacular and could be enjoyed even in cold weather sitting in front of the gas fireplace! It would be wonderful in warmer weather, too, of course. There were plenty of supplies for cooking and serving although you had to hunt a bit. It's a small kitchen so some things were in a sideboard in the dining area and in a pantry closet. The beds were very comfortable with lots of pillows. Our family enjoyed the recliners that were quite comfy and great for hanging out together. I'd highly recommend this property to anyone!

House is completely renovated. Exceptionally comfortable furniture and bedding. Huge covered deck, half screened, allows for enjoying the outdoors regardless of the weather. Super nice!

Relaxation to the Max!!!

This mtn rental was everything it said and so much more. You can use it as a base to see so many nearby mtn towns. But......if you chose, you could spend your entire trip just enjoying the porches and views!!! I highly recommend this mountain home.

Great location w/ AMAZING view!

Made a quick escape from the Florida heat and headed to the mountains! The property is just as described and the view was amazing! Centrally located between several of the surrounding towns, waterfalls. There’s a casino in Murphy for those who partake. There are several restaurants with meals worth driving for and wonderful scenic drives. Nesa is an awesome host and very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this location and will most likely be heading that way again soon! (The change of leaves would have to be stunning!)

Amazing views!

Every year I rent a cabin in the area when we are visiting with family. I saw the view this place offered and I couldn’t pass it up!! Let’s just say it WAY exceeded my expectations!! The views were outstanding! The house was adorable, updated and super clean. The host was very accommodating and responded immediately with any questions. I would definitely recommend this home and will absolutely be booking again!

Everything was perfect

We had an awesome stay in this Modern Rustic cabin with Lake Chatuge views in Young Harris, Georgia. The view was spectacular. Everything was very clean and updated. I fell in love with the mattress on the bed. The pellet grill cooked our steaks perfectly. I would love to visit again.

Spectacular view

We spent a weekend with two couples and overall enjoyed our stay very much. The view over the lake and mountains from the two patios (upper and lower floor) is spectacular. The mattresses very in good shape for restful sleep. Everything was great for us but the kitchen, dining and living room area is somewhat small and could be tight for a larger party if you have to spent a lot of time indoors.

Nice cabin. Spectacular views. Only 4 of us but could easily accommodate 6+. It does have 6 steps to the main level but only one step down to the lower area with the handicap tub. Good communication with the owner.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

When I first viewed this property in person, I was absolutely taken away by the views, I also came across about 4 deer in the backyard and knew instantly that this was the house for me. The property was well maintained but very outdated, so after 4 months of renovations and purchasing almost all brand new furniture it has now become a super comfortable and peaceful place to be. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
