Your Hiawassee getaway awaits with our cozy 2-bedroom cabin - Mountain Haven. With a plush king bed and two incredibly comfortable twin beds, 6 guests will find comfort and relaxation in this beautiful retreat. We also have a travel crib with mattress and sheets as well as kennel for your baby and/or fur baby. Complete with 3 bathrooms, including tub/showers and hair dryers, this cabin offers a wonderful space for your vacation. Additionally, there is an upstairs loft area with a very comfortable queen size futon with the best view in the house.

With a wrap around porch, fire pit and Adirondack chairs on deck, plus grill and table for 4, you're sure to get the most out of the views and space our home has to offer. There's also a small pond with a beautiful lit fountain next to the fire pit - a perfect soundscape and place to relax as you wind down your day.

For those with an EV, we have a newly installed Level 2 charger so you can stay topped up and ready to explore the area.

We’re centrally located to all that the North GA mountains have to offer and close to many in town conveniences to make your stay that much more enjoyable. We truly hope you’ve found your home away from home when you stay at Mountain Haven!

What we two enjoyed about this home is that it felt like we were not in a rental cabin, we were in a guest home. The place is very clean and is appointed with adequate furniture and the kitchen is adequate for preparing meals. The ROKU streaming provided entertainment and info as needed. The master bedroom has comfortable bed and is quiet. We also like the seasonal mountain view from the back porch. Many times saw deer in the lower yard. The paved driveway is a real plus. As is the easy one step entry to the home. The owner is an excellent communicator. When the weather cooperated, we went many places. Brasstown Bald was really nice as we went on a Crystal clear day. Dahlonga has great shopping and food choices. Thanks Eric!

Great property and location!

My family enjoyed our stay for the holiday weekend. The cabin was beautiful, fully stocked with kitchenware, Coffee, and bathroom supplies. Fit family of 6 perfectly. Host was responsive and courteous.

Beautiful

I thought the property was beautiful and the house cozy. Were there to enjoy the lake which was literally 2 minutes away. There were some minor house keeping isues, but all in all we really enjoyed our stay.

Peaceful and Accommodating

Our stay was made in a rush, and Eric was extremely helpful and understanding. Everything went well, and the home was just as described. My wife and I plan on making another trip to this wonderful home for a much longer stay.

It takes effort to help you disconnect (somewhat), simplify, slow down, rejuvenate and explore the great outdoors. We hope you find the respite you’re looking for in our home away from home - Mountain Haven!

We are located in a quiet neighborhood that is accessible year round. We’re on the approach to Bell Mountain with long range views of Brasstown Bald. We’re 2 minutes from Lake Chatuge and less than 5-10 for everything else you’d need for an amazing trip to the mountains.
