Wow! This house was perfect for our family trip. From the minute I booked the house the host was very accommodating. The house: extremely clean! Sleeping arrangements were great. Plenty of bathrooms/showers which is great with a large group. The outdoors: extremely comfortable, spacious, and had tons of fun activities!! The paddle boards, kayaks, fishing, pool…all of the kids (2-18 yrs old) had a blast!!! We will definitely be returning next summer.

Poppy's Paradise was fantastic. What a beautiful place! Our experience from beginning to end and each day in between was perfect. Our host, Matt, was responsive, accommodating, understanding, and most of all friendly. He checked on us every day to make sure our needs were met and we were happy. When we arrived, we had a box of goodies on the counter along with a cheesecake from a local Rockport bakery. Every detail was thought of. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed. The assortment of coffee syrups were an unexpected pleasure. The outdoor living space was phenomenal. Our family from the colder states truly appreciated the swimming pool as well as the big screen TV. Thank you to Matt and Christie for making our stay in Rockport memorable.

We had a great time and enjoyed all the amenities at the house as well as the location!! We also appreciated that there were plenty of towels, and the supply of a few basic necessities (toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent, laundry detergent, salt and pepper, coffee filters, etc,) made our stay very comfortable.

Wow...they have taken great care and put some thought into the needs and comfort of their guests. From cleanliness to ALL amenities exactly as listed, Poppys was one of the best if not the best rental we have ever stayed at in the Rockport area when it comes to relaxation and entertainment. Matt was our point of contact and man he is great. He was very helpful and did an awesome job checking in on us to be extra sure we had everything we needed. It truly is a vacation oasis with kayaking, paddle boarding, boating and fishing at your fingertips. I cant say enough good things. Great job Poppys!!!

We loved the space and enjoyed the outdoor upgrades! You might want to check the fishing light because when you turn it on, it trips the breaker. Also please check the outlets in the master bathroom as they were not working.

Wonderful and Relaxing Stay

We were there for the Humane Society Spring fundraiser as part of the decorating committee. The house was perfect as a work space and as a relaxing reward. Perfect Family Vaca!

We cannot say enough good things about our stay. The house was perfect in so many ways and the owners were a pleasure to work with. Don’t forget to take time for the rooftop deck! It’s an absolutely beautiful place to relax/visit at night. We even had a couple dolphins come by on our last afternoon there.

Hôte : Matt Gates

Image de profil de l’hôte
I've worked in big cities all my life, but I love being out in the country and close to nature. Rockport is close enough to the cities, but far enough away to feel like a real retreat. From the fishing to the wildlife to the great food, and most importantly, time away with family and friends, Key Allegro is the perfect getaway on the Texas Coast.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

I fell in love with Rockport a long time ago, and I know you will too. We've made our wonderful home in beautiful Key Allegro available for you to do just that, and we'll be here every step of the way to make sure your trip to the Texas Coast is full of memories you won't forget.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

There's so much room for everyone. Private spaces when you need to get away but four large gathering areas inside and out when you want to spend time with family and friends. And the list of amenities is unmatched by any other rental: private pool; hot tub; Golf Cart Rental on-site; porches, balconies, and rooftop decks; kayaks, paddleboards, and so much more. There's something for everyone here.
