This guest made their booking seven months earlier. They first asked me to open the calendar I facilitated. (Big Mistake). Then they wanted to pay in installments, what? So, I changed that also. (Another Mistake). Then they asked for a late check out, mind you, this is seven months before the booking! I said that won’t be possible, as it is too early to commit to this arrangement. Yes, they said the dishwasher was leaking I mentioned if they put big pots in the washer it could pop out the seal and just run their fingers around it all will be well. I gave them a code for the janitor’s closet to access a mop and to use huge beach towels in the meantime. They never mentioned this again. So, I assumed the problem was rectified. It was discovered the Dishwasher is fine and it was the RO system that was moved (By who we do not know) that caused the leaking. We have had two guests since no leaking. The Kerug machine doesn’t work! It's brand new and we tested it thrice and it works. There are two toasters both are working. Not once did they mention during the stay that they couldn’t get the Kureg or toaster working. There are two toasters. A traditional and a toaster oven. It is true the outdoor plants do look a bit frazzled they are Cacti and Aloe plants. It’s 96 Degrees today. We are going through a drought and do not waste water. They are outside not inside! So no, we do not water the plants or grass outside the villa. I’m sorry they have no idea how to use a barbeque. I was asked how do you turn it on and I said you “turn the knob to on”. I then asked if it worked and they said yes. I mentioned at the same time that the left side of barbeque is for warming the other side for cooking. There is an instruction book in the drawer in the kitchen which also has instruction manuals to use the kureg and toaster. The awning has a remote with photos in the guest book and positioned in a wooden box with REMOTES boldly embossed on it. The remote has an open and a close button. No one called or texted in the forum or otherwise asking about the awning. I have a cart that guests sometimes borrow to drag things to the beach or shopping from their cars. I checked the tires they are fine. Zero flat tires. The guests left towels on the floor, two pots, one with burned rice and the other a frying pan in the drawers as if they were washed. We had to go through all the cabinets to make sure they hadn’t put in other damaged or dirty utensils. Sorry if you found it too hot outside in the courtyard but we are not God and cannot control the weather. Guests, always read before and after reviews to get a true and fair review of a stay. By the way It is the same Housekeeper for almost 12 years now. Hosts take note regarding these guests, would not host again.
