Beachfront Beauty on Northern Pond

Who builds a house during a pandemic?!? We did! It was a challenging year navigating unprecedented cost of materials and delayed deliveries, but we are now welcoming you to be our guests and enjoy the fruits of our labor.

Features:
3 stories plus spectacular rooftop deck with a 360 degree view of the Pamlico Sound and Ocracoke Village.
Beachfront with use of 2 kayaks on Northern Pond - the perfect swimming hole.
Covered parking under house plus large parking pad for extra vehicles.
Cargo lift from ground to each floor. Security camera protection at ground level entrance.
Custom details, stained glass windows, tiled baths, granite countertop and comfortable brand new furniture.

1st floor includes a spacious screened entry porch and outdoor shower, foyer, laundry room, 2 bedrooms with queen beds and a full bath with tub/shower.

2nd floor includes open concept living room, dining room and kitchen with pantry and half bath plus a large deck with view of the Pamlico Sound.

3rd floor includes a large suite with spa room, walk in shower and soaking tub, and private deck with the same wonderful water view. Plus there is another 1/2 bath and cozy den for movie night, bunk beds and access to the spiral staircase to the roof.

Rooftop includes a deck with seating for sun bathing and star gazing.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful waterfront home in Ocracoke! The house was spotless on arrival, and the design and dĂ©cor made it feel both stylish and incredibly comfortable. The owners clearly thought of everything—there were plenty of amenities, and we had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway.The best part was the view: stunning sound-front scenery from every deck. Whether we were drinking coffee in the morning or watching the sunset in the evening, the peaceful waterfront backdrop made every moment special.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a serene and well-appointed place to enjoy Ocracoke!

Our first trip to Ocracoke was the year we met in 1981. We fell in love with each other and the island, never thinking we would someday own a home with the dream of someday living there. Currently working in Raleigh with 2 kids recently out of college, we escape in either direction - to the island and to the NC mountains (check out our Blowing Rock listings #486190 and #1182504.). We look for folks who also share an appreciation of Ocracoke and would enjoy staying in an island home on a sandy beach that captures times past. Our hope is that you will feel part of this community.
