Welcome to Halmeoni’s house. This sunny mid-century modern home includes 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. Enjoy a comfortable luxury getaway while sight-seeing the DMV area.

Enjoy your morning coffee or your favorite book in our spacious sun room. Listen to some tunes while working at the desk as the sun rises and peeks through the windows.

Halmeoni’s house is a 5 minute drive to DC and 10 minute drive to DC’s popular locations. Let Halmeoni’s house feel like your home away from home.

A 5 min walk to Fort Myer Base, 5/10 minute drive to Pentagon, Museums, National Mall, Georgetown shopping, National cemetery and many more.

Sleep soundly on DreamCloud mattresses, wake up with a cup of coffee provided along with a Keurig, and enjoy the morning sun out in the sunroom.

After your time checking out the local museums, hikes and foodie scene enjoy some down time with a book in the cozy reading nook or together playing games and puzzles.

The upstairs living area provides a laid-back space to relish in some quiet time, listening to some jams or engaging conversation. The downstairs living area is a comfy space to come together for a movie and a glass of wine or a cocktail by the fire. The dining space is the perfect place to come together after a day of exploring and share a meal and all the exciting details of your day. Our fully stocked kitchen provides everything you need to make a great meal at home.

If you’d rather taste some of the local eats, please check out our list of recommendations left for you at the “Welcome” table.
If the weather is nice, enjoy all that is blooming out in the beautiful backyard and make a fire in the Solo Stove provided for your use. It’s always a good time around the fire
 especially making s’mores with the kit provided.

Great place for a little weekend getaway!

We had a great stay at this property! It was clean, and stocked with everything that we might need. It was a little farther from everything in DC we wanted to do (we ended up Ubering most of the weekend), but it all worked out just fine. We would definitely come and stay again!

A true gem

House is spacious and lovely—multiple spaces to hang out comfortably. House is well appointed—extra linens, pillows, towels. Hosts are responsive—quick to text back and preemptive with our needs. Well worth the price. As advertised! Enjoy.

Convenient to Arlington National Cemetery

Good location if you need to be near Arlington Cemetery. The local super market was convenient. The property was clean and in a quiet neighborhood. It does reflect the age of the neighborhood. Overall, it was suitable for our needs.

A lovely home

We loved staying here! The neighborhood is nice and quiet and the hosts are very responsive with any questions/issues. Check-in and check-out were very easy with the digital code. The home is beautiful inside and very spacious. You're a close to drive to a Giant and a few others stores/ Ballston. We definitely would stay here again and recommend it.

Great for our Family

Perfect for the 3 month old. 10 and 8 year olds enjoyed the bunk beds. Easy to get to Washington DC by metro - which kids loved more than the museums. Worked really well for our extended family stay to see the sights of DC.

Stay with our family for a trip to DC. House was beautiful and cozy. Between a 10-20 minutes ride to all the major attractions. Owner was quick with responses.

Excellent family hangout house

We were visiting the DC area for an internment at Arlington National Cemetery -- six adults and three kids. The house is expensive but spacious, and it worked beautifully for our group -- lots of space for different groups to gather, a nice kitchen, comfortable beds, kitchen with frying pans and plenty of plates, etc. We particularly liked the sunroom behind the kitchen, for the kids, with its games and television. We were minutes from the cemetery and only ten or fifteen minutes from the National Mall. Oh, and there's a nice little park down the street, with slides, etc.

Perfect Place to Stay

The house was perfect for us! We were in town for a fitness meetup in DC and this was so close and convenient! The property was gorgeous!! Clean and spacious! The Firepit was a fun bonus!! We would def stay here again!!

Thoughtfully stocked, clean and cute

My family and I stayed here during a visit to Arlington National Cemetery for my dad's interment. The house was beautifully decorated and very thoughtful stocked with essentials. There's a bedroom on the lower floor, which was helpful for my mom with mobility issues. My young kids loved the bunk beds. Extra points for having a kids step stool and potty seat, as well as a pack and play. The darker curtains in the bunk room were also a great touch.

Adorable, Well-Appointed, Comfortable Home in Convenient Location

Nine of us (ages 54, 51, (27x3), 26,17,16, and 12) comfortably resided in this house for 5 days, and 4 nights over the July 4th holiday weekend. Definitely one of the top 3 vacation homes stays I've had out of ~20 in my lifetime. A short drive to wherever you might want to go + we walked to/from watching the fireworks over near Arlington National Cemetery. A fabulous home, gracious and thoughtful hosts, great location - highly recommend.
