We always love staying at this property! Lou is a great host and the house is beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed with great appliances. Love the big sink too! The main bed and bath are on the first floor, beautifully decorated and the bed is extremely comfortable! This home is located so close to the Cashiers crossroads too, which is an added bonus! Thank you Lou for opening your home to us through VRBO. We can’t wait to stay there again.

Secluded Comfort

A beautiful property tucked quietly away in peaceful setting. Close to town but feels likes it’s on its own mountaintop. The host is incredibly friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend for anyone who knows Cashiers and the surrounding area and is looking for a quiet retreat.

Fabulous host, beautiful house, great location

I can't say enough great things about this rental. The host Lou was super communicative and the house is a dream! Centrally located, but down a private street with a gate for extra security. I will be staying at this house every time I visit the area. Thank you so much!!!

Secluded house in the NC mountains

The house was beautiful and well maintained. Everything we needed to enjoy our stay was in the house and at our disposable. The property is very private with attractive natural landscaping. It was a pleasure waking up every morning to cool mountain air. If you're looking for an attractive mountain hideaway, this property should meet your needs.

A Happy Birthday Weekend

The house was lovely and the host, very accommodating. The space was perfect for our party of three couples. The kitchen was well appointed; the main bathroom’s shower was a show-stealer and we were pleased with the abundant supply of towels. Cashiers had everything we were looking for and we really enjoyed Highlands, a short, scenic drive away. Thank you for everything!

Great house, great property

This is such a great house. Bigger than it looks in pics! It worked really well for our family of 4 including 2 toddlers, but could really sleep a lot of people. The property was great for our kids to explore. It is a well cared for home, didn't feel like a high traffic rental or anything. The property owner was very responsive and considerate. The location was awesome. For me, house was a win to find and we plan to stay here every time we come back!

This mountain house in Cashiers was very nice and exactly as it was portrayed on VRBO. Location in town cannot be beat. In the house, we especially loved the upstairs bonus room and the the 4th bedroom that is being used as an office with a nice large desk and ergonomic desk chair. The kitchen and its amenities were top notch. I was really impressed with the organization of the cooking tools drawers, and I even learned a great hack for dealing with pot lids that get too hot when you cook on a gas stovetop (tucking wine corks under the handles)! See picture.The master bathroom and especially the shower were awesome, and I loved the shoe cubbies in the master closet. The four-poster bed was super comfy, and a power strip by the nightstand was very useful. In the family room, we enjoyed the leather couch, large TV, and my daughter loved curling up on the loveseat that was half chaise longue.The communication from the homeowner was exceptional, and any questions we had were answered quickly.Finally, I appreciated the privacy gate at the driveway (and it was great having a remote to borrow so we didn’t have to always use the keypad), and the ability to park our car in a nice clean garage.
