We started hosting in 2016 by renting out a room in our home as a way to pay the mortgage. Hosting in our own home taught us something important early on: the âhomeâ part really matters. As short-term rentals became more common, many places started to feel efficient but sterile and it felt like something got lost. We wanted our place to preserve the homey aspect that's so special.
When we travel ourselves, we look for places that feel special without being overdone, comfortable without being precious, and easy to enjoy from the moment we arrive. That mindset guided every decision in this home. We hope you enjoy it!
