Cabin in Ouachita mountains with hot tub and great views!

Great place for adventurer's or those wanting to get cozy and play games/read books/spend time with family. 4-wheeling, digging for crystals, canoeing, hiking, swimming, all quite close. Also a good supply of books, games, children's play area. Wonderful space for larger groups. One full bath and one dorm style bath with 3 separate shower stalls, 3 toilet stalls, and four sinks. We've never run out of hot water! Kayaks for rent now as well: 5 adult and 2 youth.

This place is great. If you're staying in Arkanas, this is the place to stay. The hosts are the best, the cabin is awesome, and there are lots of things to see and do! All the conviences of home, but you're a guest, just enjoying the great outdoors of what Arkansas has to offer.

So glad you found the local horseback riding in Ouachita National Forest! Did you find your way to Little Missouri Falls? It is beautiful there and so much fun you will not want to leave. Bring lunch! There is no food anywhere around there and you will want to stay forever!

This cabin was perfect for our family trip! The kids enjoyed the playground and us adults enjoyed the jacuzzi! The kitchen is very spacious, and we had everything we needed to prepare all our family meals. The host was quick to respond to all my questions. Would definitely rent this cabin again!

Great place to relax. Host was very nice and communication was great. Great location if you want to hike the Ouachita Forest, visit the Wegner Crystal Mine or just get away from the cities. You’re also only about 1 hour away from Hot Springs where there is the Garvan Woodland Gardens, mini golf/family activities and the Coleman Crystal Mine.

So glad you had a good time! If you visit again, just so you know, we have kayak rentals and an ATV outfitter. There are so many great places to visit here with all the Crystal, mines and Forest roads and trails. Do come again!

The property had everything we needed, including a hot tub. Family commented that this was the first place that we had stayed that there was no wait for the bathroom which is important when there are kids. We enjoyed the view and the trails around the rental. It was pet friendly and my dog enjoyed our hikes around the property as well. Host communicated and answered any inquiries promptly. Arkansas is a beautiful place to visit. My sister who was present calls it her "happy place."

Spacious property, great location

We came for a dog hunting trip and the property was close to the areas we were hunting. The spacious grounds provided plenty of room for us to conveniently and safely keep our hounds. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating for all of our needs. Would definitely stay here again.

Intriguing, quirky house

This was the most quirky house I’ve ever experienced! It’s an odd gathering of rooms, each with a unique character. Books from floor to ceiling, games, quiet spots, gathering places, and you never ever have to wait for a bathroom or open shower! There’s the pond, waterfalls, creeks and rivers to explore. An unforgettable stay!

Fun location

Great communication with the host. We had a group of 11 - 6 adults & 5 children. There was plenty of room to spread out. The kids loved playing outside on the little playground. There are 2 bedrooms that can only be accessed through another bedroom. This worked for us but other groups might find it challenging. Overall, a great place to stay!

Family summer fun.

The property was unique. It's not the typical cookie cutter house which appealed to us.We had everything we needed. The host was very helpful and informative about places to go and see. The only thing was we wished we would have done prior to the trip was looked up more of the places to visit, waterfalls, swimming areas etc. We did not realize the national forest was so large so we ended up driving alot to some areas. This is no fault of the house we just needed to map things out better for us.

Clean and well stocked!! Good OHV location.

The house is a little quirky in the layout, but worked out fine for us. There are 5 bathrooms (none of which are connected to a bedroom). There are 4 bathroom stalls with doors and 4 showers with doors all in one hallway. This house appears to be an old foster home/school. There are some bedrooms that you have to walk through to get to another bedroom. The house was clean and very well stocked. In a good location for OHV trails and close to the general store for gas etc. We had a nice stay!!

Really interesting place!

The house was exactly as described. I was a little worried about 15 people and only 4 bathrooms but the way it is set up made it work really well. A line of sinks in one spot. And a hallway lined with showers on one side, toilets on the other, all with their own doors. Eccentric is certainly the word for this house and we really enjoyed it. It was clean and had everything you could possibly need. The hot tub was big and worked well. We used the fire pit every evening. The owners were very easy to deal with and there was plenty of room once you look around for our trailers and side by sides. Great trip!
