Welcome to Camp Comfort! Cozy little cottage on Lazy Harbor West Wareham. Views of Beautiful Marion and Weweantic River leading to Buzzards Bay. Cottage has all the modern comforts you need for a great vacation. WIFI / Cable, microwave, washer/dryer, gas grill, fire pit, AC. Enjoy a relaxing Cape Cod vibe without having to fight traffic or cross the bridges. Cookouts and campfires add to the experience. Walking distance to sandy beach with loads of little crabs to be entertained by or enjoy the waterfront on either side of this private paradise peninsula. Walking distance to mini golf, ice cream stand and sit down dining. Close to the canal and train bridge and many other wonderful attractions. Cottage has 2 cozy bunk beds (sleeps 4 children), a futon bed, and a loft with a full size mattress for sleeping. Take a swim and enjoy a rinse in the outdoor shower. Relax on the deck and enjoy the breeze. It is a little slice of Heaven.

Our family of five had a great experience at this location. The listing is accurate and we were able to enjoy all parts of the property as they were described. The back deck has a beautiful view of the water where you can fish and kayak, Wareham is a great town that has OnSet beach, a downtown with some shops and places to eat and the Wareham Gatemen, a local Cape Cod baseball league team. Overall, we highly suggest this place as a nice summer getaway.

The cottage is spotless and well equipped for quick meals, very family friendly. It is nested in a coastal wetland of forest and marsh w an abundance of birds from the front deck to the surrounding landscape. It is tranquil and yet close to neighborhood homes and cottages and 5-10 minutes from shopping and a variety of places to eat. The Briarwood beach is an added plus. Host Matthew was very helpful and generous w advice. We would love to return.

What a cozy little beach cottage! We had an excellent stay at this property. Being right in the water was amazing - we watched birds and deer from the back deck, and enjoyed the beach close by! It was so relaxing to be in a cottage, and forced us to slow down and relax. You can tell great thought has been given to making sure that the small space has the most amenities possible.

Our stay at this cabin was a terrible experience, especially considering we paid 750 for only two nights.There were spiders everywhere, including on the ceiling right above the bunks. My daughter was unable to use the top bunk because of this. There were ants crawling all over the bottom bunk, and the loft bed had bugs throughout the area near the window sill and the ceiling. We could not sleep comfortably surrounded by all the insects. The first night was so bad that I seriously considered sleeping in my car.By the second day, my husband ended up purchasing an air mattress, sheets, pillows, and other bedding so that we could have a more comfortable place to sleep.There were also other issues during our stay. The shower was located outside, which was not what we expected with pill bugs crawling everywhere. The power also went out when we used the coffee machine while the portable AC was running. We had to locate the breaker and restart the power. The picture showed a beach. There was no beach off of the cabin. The note in the cabin stated the beach was muddy and a mile away - basically rendering it non-usable since it was muddy. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing stay. The cleanliness and amount of bugs were unacceptable, and for 750 for two nights, we expected a much more comfortable and sanitary experience. Unfortunately, this is not a place I would recommend or stay at again.

We were very pleased with our stay at Camp Comfort. It was very quiet and we enjoyed grilling and watching the fiddler crabs on the shore. If you want a cozy cabin with rustic charm this is for you.

Perfect spot for a family of 5!

We took the kids down the cape to celebrate our oldest 9th birthday and this cottage was the perfect spot. The kids had a blast having their own space with bunk beds and the views were absolutely spectacular. We already can’t wait to come back! Highly recommended!

Perfect all around stay

Super clean, adorable cottage on the water. Very quiet neighborhood, such a relaxing stay. Everything you need for comfort is available. Conveniently located to great biking trails, kayaking nearby, ice cream and tavern around the corner. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, this is a perfect choice.
