Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located apartment located in historic downtown Galveston! Just a block or two from everything you`re going to want to visit downtown, this location is tough to beat. Built in 1917, the League Lofts have been the ideal place to live for over a century, and now they`re being offered to you!! Designed and furnished in 2022, the apartment will comfortably sleep up to 5, with everything you`re going to need to enjoy your Galveston getaway!! THERE IS NO ELEVATOR IN THIS BUILDING. IT IS ALL ONLY STAIRS!

● WINTER TEXAN RATE: Escape to the Texas Gulf Coast this winter! Ask about our reduced monthly rates October 1 - March 1.

● Location: Historic Downtown area of Galveston, Texas, half mile from cruise ship terminal. This is a historic building with early 20th century building materials and single-pane windows. Noise may be present.

● Beach Access: Less than a 4-minute drive from the beaches at the Seawall.

● Rent BeachBox: Beach gear rentals are available! Ask us for details and rates.

● WIFI/Cable: We provide free high-speed WIFI and Roku with access to Sling TV for live television channels. Guests are welcome to log into their own streaming service apps.

● Pet Policy: 1 pet is allowed with a $25 fee per pet. Please keep pets off furniture, clean up after them outside, and crate them if left alone indoors.

● Parking: Paid street parking options on the streets surrounding the building.

● Cancellation Policy: All cancellations are subject to a 3% credit card processing fee.

● Party Policy: No parties are allowed at our home. Please look elsewhere if that is the intent of your trip.

● Age Requirement: Guests must be 24+ to book.

House Rules:
- Guests must be 24+ to book the property.
- One-night stays must be approved.
- Parties and events are prohibited.
- Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am.
- Any damages to the house or property during your stay will result in a deduction or additional charge for the resulting repair/replacement cost.
- All pets must be approved by our team, stay off of all furniture, be cleaned up after, and not left alone inside the home unless in a kennel.
- Do not turn the AC below 70 degrees. If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm.
- Should an eviction occur due to breaking house rules (noise ordinance violations, excessive guests and/or vehicles beyond the agreed amount), there will be an $850 fine.

The location is walking distance to fantastic dining, galleries, live music venues, just about all of our favorite non-beach Galveston spots. The loft itself is charming and comfortable.

Overall the place was okay. The walk up the steps with all of your luggage is annoying, The floors are dirty and loud to walk on, the bathroom was not clean and small, the living room was really nice, it is not in a safe area at all!

We stayed here for halloween weekend and it was very accessible and close to the strand. We easily walked to everything we needed. Great location, but you must be prepared to climb stairs. A lot of stairs. The A/C works, but they have these extra units with tube things coming out of the window that take up a lot of space in the living room and one of the bedrooms & look very
 rigged with duck tape. The doors between the bedrooms do not close, either. There is very little privacy. You can hear everything that happens in the building and the floors creak very loudly all through the loft. Be prepared to bring blankets as there is no extra blankets in the whole loft and the bedding in the pictures is not what is in the loft. It is very thin. The kitchen did come with dishes, but they were dirty so we had to wash everything before we used it. If you bring food know that there is ONLY salt and pepper provided. Overall, we would not stay here again. The company is very promotional and it is a lot easier dealing with a place ran by actual people.

The loft was just as described and nicely kept. Everything was comfortable and roomy. The beds are big. There were plugs everywhere, which we appreciated. It really is a cute loft. You can see many features from a time gone by, mixed with numerous new updates (kitchen).On the flip side. The elevator does not work. We knew we would be on the 3rd (top) floor, but we were not prepared for the climb. Parking is on the street. You need to get to the loft well before check-in to secure a decent parking spot and to check on your vehicle if needed. It's very close to The Strand, so walking is not a problem. Lastly, we did not feel like WE should be the ones taking out the garbage upon checkout. The garbage bin is downstairs, out the door, and to the back of the building. Some options could have been made available.

It was exactly what was pictured! AC was nice and cold. Kitchen was well stocked. The location was excellent, walking distance to just about everything. Water pressure was great. Bikes were a fun perk. I do wish there had been a full length mirror but we would absolutely stay here again!

There was no elevator service so we had to lug our luggage up the stairs. Had i know ahead of time, i could have planned for that. The bed made goalie noises every time you moved at all so we didn't get much sleep. It was room 301 and i would not recommend it.

Our stay was overall good. The owner was responsive and kept in touch whenever I had a question, which I really appreciated. The apartment itself has beautiful wood flooring and feels quite spacious for a two-bedroom.That said, there were a few challenges. The bathroom is located inside one of the bedrooms, which may not work for everyone. The elevator was out of order during our stay, which made being on the third floor inconvenient when carrying groceries, taking out trash, or for anyone with mobility concerns. The washer/dryer combo also didn’t work for me, so I ended up going to a laundromat. Parking was another hurdle—I didn’t realize the unit was in the downtown historic district, where parking can be tricky. I even received a ticket, so I’d recommend paying close attention to signs or using a public garage.On a brighter note, the neighborhood had charm. Just a block over on Post Office Street we found a cozy cafĂ©, a pub, an art gallery, and some cute restaurants. Getting to the Gulf was also easy—you can bike there in 10–15 minutes, jog in about 25, or drive in 10. The property even offers free bikes to borrow, which was a nice perk.In the end, the apartment was well-equipped, air-conditioned, and close to everything we needed. While there were a few inconveniences, the location and amenities still made it a pleasant stay.

We enjoyed our stay. I will book again, however, there’s no central a/c. They have window units which were ok. However, I sent my son home to get floor fans which helped circulate the cold air from the window units. Also, the living room furniture not so comfortable. I wish there was a more comfortable fold out couch and side chairs. We spent a lot of time in this area and it was just hard to get comfortable. Last, no extra linens. If you book, bring extra blankets, sheets, etc there’s none.

Appliances were broken. The dishwasher wasn't useful. The washer dryer combo's door wasn't latching correctly, we had to set the trash can in front if it.The air conditioners were leaking on the floors. I ordered a body board and didn't get, I was told it would be at our door at 12 - 1pm and it didn't show. I called to check on it and i got a automatic answering machine saying no one was available and I still got charged for it. It was nice to have a home setting and the grocery store near by. The restaurants were great and the local coffee shop. I just would have liked to have a better functioning place to stay plus for the money we spent. It's not ideal for a easy going vacation we had in mind.

They were super kind and accommodating—definitely 5 stars for customer service! Based on how I was treated, I’d consider coming back just for that reason.However, the listing wasn’t accurately described. The space is very small, and climbing three flights of stairs without an elevator was tough—especially with kids and luggage. The area around the entrance felt unsettling, with questionable activity nearby. There's a late-night grocer around the corner, but unfortunately, it attracts a number of individuals who made us feel unsafe.Parking was also a challenge, with no free options nearby. The closest garage is two blocks away and costs 25 a day. On the plus side, the loft itself was reasonably clean.All in all, I was not impressed. I’d rate the building 2 stars and the location just 1 star.

The greatest place in Galveston

Y'all let me tell u something about this beautiful place first the host is the greatest u dont get host like this the world we live in today. This beautiful place is nice and quiet and easy to get into it. me and my wife love it here we will be back i promise we will be back please go see this beautiful place u will like it i promise u i give this beautiful place a ten.

Don't stay here

I booked this place thinking it was going to be an amazing trip. Boy was I wrong, not only was the loft not what the pictures described but it had a horrible odor and the elevator didn't work. Our loft was on the third floor and the stairs sound and felt like you where going to fall though them at any moment. Within a few minutes of me walking in I had trouble breathing from the smell. The furniture had all kind of stains it was horrible. The tub had mold all around it and the floors where disgusting. I tried call someone and they kept hanging up in my face. Then I checked my account to find out to find out that they keep hitting my account for way more than I even knew. I wouldn't advise anyone to rent this loft or from these people *SCAM*
