Cozy open floor plan, a home away from home, short walk from the beach (literally 6 houses away), it's a place where long lasting memories can be made. You can sit back on the porch and take in the sea air, stay at the beach all day, spend time fishing, eat at the local restaurants (that are super close), cruise the beach on a golf cart (rentals walking distance), or curl up on the couch and read all day. Great place to stay!!

We truly enjoyed our time at Ola Del Mar! Great location and the cabin was very nice and clean!! We went for a small girls trip just to relax and it was perfect just for us! Communication with the owner was not a problem! Very easy stress free trip!!

Beach Trip

This was the cutest bungalow and perfect for our stay. A short walk to the beach, and the house had everything we needed to enjoy our beach retreat. Clean, comfortable, and the host replied promptly to any questions I had to help me get around the island.

Great Location

The property was easy to get to and was a quick walk to the beach. The house was tidy and clean. I have a few complaints 1 being the floor always felt sandy even afer sweeping need a swiffer or wet mop to clean the floor. There were ants on the counter so we put all food in fridge. The t.v didnt work in the bedroom so we had to watch a tablet. Kids were in living room. They stayed in contact with us throught the hurricane and made sure we were safe. I would book again as it was a good experience. Thank you

Okay for a short stay

This little house was okay for a short stay, however there were several inconveniences that it made what would be a vacation into a bit of a stressful stay. Upon arriving, the code provided for the door did not work. It had not been changed correctly, and although it may have been an honest mistake, after a long drive with anxious kids and an infant in the texas summer, it was quite stressful and frustrating. Then once getting in, the house was unbearably hot and took forever to cool down. It also wouldnt go below a certain temperature so it was often warm in the house. There were notes all over the house for dos and donts. A comprehensive welcome note/book would have been more helpful. There were sugar ants all over, and we found a roach. Due to this, we had to keep all food in the fridge to avoid getting ants in it. The house was not cleaned well, as there was sand and dirt on our feet when walking around barefoot. The ice maker had a wild hair. Hitting it once made it spit out ice for about 1 more minute without stopping, so it would all end up on the floor. There was nowhere to put a suitcase or put away clothes, like a table, closet, etc and not much floor space to place it on the floor. Also nowhere to put a small amount of daily bathroom items. The couch bed was very flimsy and made us too nervous to have an adult lay on it, so we had to switch kids onto the couch bed and adult in the bunk bed. There were no extra blankets to use.
