Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The house is a 3 bedroom 2 bath house. It has about half an acre fenced backyard for your fur baby 🐶. Perfect central location with many stores close by. It’s only about 5 minutes to Atlantic Beach and 3 minutes from downtown Morehead City. If you stay for more than 3 days we will give you a special discount. It’s time for a vacation, hey you and your family deserve it. Come visit Crystal Coast to relax and create long lasting memories. Great host - made sure that everything was perfect for our stay and kept in touch with us throughout the process. House was very clean and great location, located close to many restaurants, the beach and attractions. Love the huge back yard and it was perfect place to stay with our dogs. Would recommend to anyone and would stay there again.

Pet friendly in a nice neighborhood

Our hosts were very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. The house was very nice and perfect for us and our dogs. Overall a great vacation!

Great weekend

My daughter and I packed up our dogs for a last minute getaway to the beach. Alex’s property was perfect - from the house itself, to the large fenced in backyard, to the location to ocean. Really enjoyed our time there.

Beautiful and relaxing home!

This well decorated and beautiful home was perfect for our family! We felt right at home! The neighborhood was lovely and the backyard was great for our dog. Everything was close by. The house was well stocked. Definitely recommend!!

Cozy home with a great backyard for pups!

This home was well taken care of and any concerns or questions we had were responded to quickly. We rented for a family wedding and had pups with us, they LOVED the large fenced in yard and made friends with the neighbor's pups. Would rent again!

Great Location- Big Backyard

Great location, super close to Atlantic Beach - Emerald Isle. Quiet neighborhood with all the creature comforts close by. We brought our 2 dogs and they had a blast running and playing in the big backyard. Alex (Owner) is on top of everything and available when you need him. We would stay again.

Great house and great location! The backyard was perfect for our fur babies---but would be perfect for human babies too---completely fenced and a wonderful large covered patio. House had plenty of room for the 4 of us, but can accommodate more guests comfortably. The hosts were very responsive. Nice quiet neighborhood. Will stay again .

Very clean and family-friendly

The house provided lots of space for my family of 8 to gather for meals, card games, etc. There is indoor and outdoor space and the house was very clean. The description says 5min from the beach but we found it was more like 10min drive (we went several times) but that being said there is even a beach without paid parking just a short drive away. The hosts helped us add a night to our stay and provided helpful details. The check-in was super smooth and flexible.

BEST Overnight Stay!

We could only coordinate an overnight stay at the beach due to conflicting schedules and spring breaks. We absolutely loved the entire home setting. We especially enjoyed sitting around the fire pit and the back deck making smores listening to music, singing, laughing, and talking. Wonderful weather although we all smelled like smoke by the time we went to bed lol. We couldn't get enough of sitting around the fire and watching the night stars. Great memories with our teens/young adult. Everything we needed to feel home away from home. Our dog loved hanging out with us in the back yard too.

Great for families!

We came here spontaneously for a much needed beach weekend and wanted to take our two dogs with us. This home was available at the last minute and it was perfect for our little family. We just wanted to a place to sleep at night, but the home had a lot to enjoy. Although the interior utilities were a bit dated, it was in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood and had exactly what we needed. The dogs enjoyed running around the huge fenced backyard. We enjoyed the hammocks and the fire pit in the evening. Alex was very easy to get ahold of and quick with his replies. We have never been to Atlantic beach before and it was wonderful. The home is very close to the beach and great restaurants. This home was perfect for our first time! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Really bad experience.

It was really bad experience I came to the house and somebody was there. I paid for it. I have to cancel my trip and come back at home on the midnight. Really disappointed

Sorry about your bad experience Daniela. Like I had explained to you before, the issue was not with the host but rather an issue with VRBO and calendar sinking with Airbnb. To help resolve the the issue the host tried to find a substitute home for the guess to stay. VRBO took responsibility for it fix the the calendar sinking issue and immediately refund the guest. This has never happened before and we hope it doesn’t happen again. Thanks

Great time!

We all loved the property, the kids and puppy mostly as they were able to utilize the beautiful fenced in back yard. Bring able to cook on the amazing grill was a great plus. The master bed was very comfortable and the kids loved the bunk beds. We were all able to get comfortable and have a movie night in the living room when the weather was not pleasant, plenty of longe space. The board games were a great plus! Location was pretty prime in my opinion for everything our family trip was intended for, fishing. Unfortunately, weather was not cooperative and still slighty early in the season. Lesson learned. We will be excited to plan our trip here next fishing trip. We did try to extend, already booked out!! Big thanks to Alex for all his accommodations. Well done!

The Perfect Place Stay!

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at the Lizardo's home when visiting family in Morehead City to attend a funeral. Prior to arriving I had a ton of questions as this was my first time using Vrbo. Alex was super helpful and always quick to message me back. Upon arrival we pulled up to the house and were in aww with how beauiful the property looked. The neighborhood was nice and seemed friendly as well. When entering the home there was a picture frame located on the right side of the wall providing us with the home instructions. This was helpful to us as to know what was expected from us while enjoying our stay. There wasn't many expectations other then treat the home as if it was your own and be respectful with not damaging the property. There was also booklet available on the living room table providing more detailed information as well as local suggestions for meals & activities. The yard was huge and our kids enjoyed playing in it along with our dog. We don't have a yard at home so this was a huge highlight for us all. The yard had a fire pit which was wonderful and a deck you could sit out on if you wanted. The rooms were spacious, clean, and neatly made. There were night lights everywhere which was helpful for us for our kids. There were games in the living room available for us to play should we have chosen to do so. There were beach towels in front of the indoor fire place too. This was a nice added touch as we didn't think of bringing beach towels and should we have needed some. The beds were comfortable and our kids enjoyed being able to stay with one another (which was a surprise) while still having seperate beds. The first room on the right did have a high bed and my grandmother had difficulty getting in it at first but we were able to pick up a stepping stool for under $10 at the local walmart. She said the bed was so comfortable so she was not about to give up the room lol. We had the pleasure of meeting Gaby during our stay and just as nice as it was to chat with Alex over the phone. It was like having family over when chatting with his wife and daughter. I couldn't have asked for nicer people to have met. We needed items for us to enjoy a bonfire and they were so kind to go out of their way and provide it for us. We didn't expect that as the house was close to a walmart for us to pick something up. Renting this house truly gave us the break we needed while visiting family. We were able to relax and feel better then what we do at our own home. I will never stay at a hotel again in Morehead City and will be definately staying at the Lizardo's house again. I can't thank the home owners enough for allowing us to stay at their home and making us feel like family when they visited. They weren't going to pop in but notified us that they would be dropping the firepit items we needed at the door. I enjoyed chatting with them and am always excited to meet new people that we invited them to come say hello. It was truly an enjoyable moment. You can't find nicer folks, I am telling you. Thank you Alex and Gaby for everything! You truly made our stay amazing and comfortable during a difficult time for us. Thank you again and we look forward to seeing y'all soon.
