Family reunion

Great stay for our sibling reunion. Clause to canoeing and kayaking. We went to Higgins Lake for picnic. The house was well stocked, just needed an extra hand towel in bath rooms. Great for our family of 10.

Hunting trip

From check in to check out we had an amazing experience during our stay. The house is super cozy and kitchen was fully equipped for cooking our breakfasts and dinners. The backyard had a fireplace that looked beautiful with lights surrounding the whole yard. 10 stars for sure on this location.

Great property for multi-generation family trip

I booked this trip for myself, my parents (seniors) and my two teens. The property was spacious, clean, well-appointed, with an open layout. The shared spaces are open and inviting. The guest rooms provided plenty of privacy and comfort. We enjoyed yard games and a bonfire out back in the private yard. Everyone had plenty of space to relax and enjoy the weekend. The surrounding area is wooded and rustic, beautiful scenery for a morning run. I felt safe exploring the roads and jogging into town. Location is perfect for a trip down the AuSable or a day at the beach. Roni was responsive whenever I had a question. We did not have any issues with our stay. Looking forward to many returns!

Getaway

It is exactly as described. It was very clean, and have every thing we needed. Endless firewood for the outdoor fire pit, that was great. Sleeping areas, we’re great. Beds and furniture were very comfortable. Ease access to to the local area’s. I would definitely stay again. Host was very responsive and friendly. He let us check in early because it was available, and that was nice.

Everything was great, spacious & far more than you’d expect! Clean, new furniture, and just a wonderful space! Will likely stay again if we visit Higgins or Houghton lake ;)

Perfect Getaway Up North

We loved our time at this property! Very close to town, but removed enough to really give that up north feeling. The house is very spacious, clean, and well stocked. We especially appreciated the high chair, pack-and-play, and kid-friendly dishes for our little ones. Our young daughters loved the fire pit in the backyard, as well as the big soaking tub for getting clean afterwards. The location provided easy access to hiking trails, ORV trails, and tasty restaurants. We would certainly stay here again!

Clean-Big-Comfortable

This place was clean, big and comfortable. The host was nice and informative. When we arrived there were chickens and turkeys across the street. Some of them came across the road to greet us. Nice place had everything you could think of. We'll appointed.

Close to Paddle Brave

House has everything you need! Manager always responsive and accommodating. Would love to stay here again as our trip will most likely be an annual thing. Great location at 0.5 miles. We didn't camp but it was nice to hangout with those at site having a bonfire. It also made it easy to meet the larger group to go tubing for the day due to proximity. We also had a nice surprise of 2 small deer eating in the front lawn one night.

Would Stay Again!

We really loved this VRBO, the pictures are just as it is, it is very clean, easy to get too, great location! The backyard was perfect for our small children, they loved he tub too! Communication with owner was quick and easy. All the furniture was very comfortable. The TVs were not locked out on apps (has happened at other VRBO's before and is not fun for the little ones). Our favorite VRBO so far!
