Perfect location! Had a blast. Lots of room and the balcony view is amazing. And being next to the best pizza in town, Mickey’s, is a huge plus!

Great location, beautiful views, walk 300 feet your in the sand. Linda is very responsive if needed. My family had a wonderful time, celebrated a big birthday and we used all 5 available bedrooms. Met some amazing neighbors, would go back in a heartbeat. In spired me to book a smaller place for myself and my doodle for next summer. Perfect for a family or large group of ten!

Great location and beach access

The property was in a terrific location and the layout was very comfortable for a large group. Many rooms for sleeping and a front tv room on the ground floor as well as the 2nd level with balcony overlooking the beach. Great place for a large group / family gatherings!

Warm, welcoming house to relax and unwind

A block from the strand, with fantastic views of the beach and the ocean. A walk from many restaurants and shops. It was perfect for a 3 day weekend to hang out, relax and make more memories with our childhood friends.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this property! The location truly couldn’t have been better—nestled right in the heart of everything we wanted to do, yet still peaceful and private. It was the perfect home base for our group, and we all had such a great time.The house was exactly as described—clean, spacious, and well-stocked with everything we needed. Whether we were relaxing indoors or enjoying the outdoor space, it was clear a lot of thought went into making guests feel at home.Everyone in our group kept saying how much they loved the location and how easy it was to get to all the nearby attractions. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay. Five stars all the way!

Great house at the beach!

This Hermosa Beach house was perfect for a gathering of friends. It had everything we needed, and a wonderful view of the ocean from the 2nd floor. Mickey’s deli next door was great for food and drinks, and there were many restaurants a short walk away down the boardwalk. We had a wonderful stay!

Location is great

This property is deacribed accurately and proximity to the beach is great with good views of the water from the upstairs balcony. If you plan to use the futons make sure you bring extra pillows and blankets as we could not find any. The two twin beds are really only appropriate for small adults or kids.

Great space with an even better location

Had a different vrbo cancel on my group of friends last second... Linda (this unit's owner) came through and was helpful and very communicative booking a next day reservation. We loved the unit and had a great time. You can not beat this location.

We had a great time in Hermosa Beach. The house was steps away from the Strand and the beach. The neighborhood is nice with a lot of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Linda was great with her communication and was always very responsive to our questions. Thanks!

Stay here, you will love it too!!

Great place to stay! Perfect location, few steps to the Beach and walking distance to several great restaurants, the pier, many shops, and the down town area. We woke up to the most incredible ocean view every morning, then breathtaking sunsets every night. The care and thoughtfulness that the owners have taken in developing and sharing their property with others is unmatched. Amazing accommodations, very clean, spacious and well appointed. Our family really enjoyed it and we didn’t want to leave! What a gem of a place—only out shined by the kindness of the hosts themselves!

Wow!! Oceanfront... Breathtaking!

Such a great house. We loved it! Everything was like new. Looks totally remodeled. Lots of room for our entire family. The location was PERFECT! Oceanfront and very close to lots of cool restaurants and small shops. We were so happy with our stay and will be coming back. Thank you so much Linda for all of your help!

2025 Family Vacay

We had 11 of us at this property. 7 adults and 4 toddlers. This has been the best beach vacation we have had in years. This house was perfect for all of us for the entire 11 days. The adults all had a bedroom and the kids had their own playroom/sleeproom. The deck which adjoins the kitchen and family room was perfect! We never felt crowded. The host provided all of our needs. Kleenex (yes, actual Kleenex), toilet paper, paper towels, beach towels (and not cheapo ones! The washer and dryer were great with the size party we had. The ocean view was priceless! We will definitely be coming back here in the future. Thank you Martha! (Our host) Definitely great beach house!!!

Wonderful beach house

There is perhaps no better place to hang out than on the living room/patio that overlooks Hermosa Beach! We spent hours in the sun, watching the beach life go by. The house was super clean and the host were always quick to respond. There was plenty of room for all our guests in the 5 bedrooms. Like any great beach house, you can find some wear, but they seem to keep up on the maintenance. And it's hard to beat the location. The beach is right there, Mickey's Deli (pastrami sandwiches!) is nearby and the Pier is only a 10 minute walk down the Strand. Check out the Comedy Club (famous comedians just drop by sometimes) and Costal restaurant, while your here We had a wonderful week in this house!

You’re paying for location

The house is a stone’s throw from the Strand and the sand with great views of the beach and wonderful sunsets. The house itself is just that, a beach house in every respect. It fits the bill if you want sun, sand and water. Lots of retail and eating options nearby. Don’t go expecting a luxury accommodation or even really clean one at that. There are many things that are long in the tooth. The kitchen is sparse with equipment and the kitchen sink faucet is not really secure to the counter top not to mention the nice crack in the granite counter behind the faucet. I would not want to cook there and it looks like someone did and burned part of the cabinetry. The bedrooms are ok-all downstairs with no views and all of them felt a bit dirty and the feel of sand on your feet is unmistakable just about everywhere. The slider doors upstairs to the balcony are all hazy and the seals on the glass is broken, allowing for condensation and a haze to set in. The BBQ is rusted out and does not appear appealing to use. There is space for 2 rental cars to park, which is great. The property manager was nice to allow an early arrival by several hours, but is not great with details in terms of check out unless prompted. There is no “binder” or folder welcoming you to the property or how to check out or what expectations there are to do so. They just tell you to “lock up” when done. I think it’s owned by the people who own Mickey’s Deli next door. The deli does have great food.
