Charming Cecil Cottage Next To Landing!

The home sleeps up to 11 people with an open yard, gas grill, string lights, and a rec room all w/ views of the lake and landing.

With three guest rooms upstairs, one featuring a bunk bed, this home is perfect for families with children. The fourth bedroom is on the main floor.

The home is located directly next to the village of Cecil public boat launch and landing. This provides immediate access to the boat launch and you are just steps away from both the public beach and Cecil Lakeview Park!

Take a short 10 minute walk to enjoy a delicious ice cream treat at The Dairy Cove or just a few minutes further to get a quick 9 holes in at Golden Sands Golf Course!

Each of the BEDROOMS upstairs features a TV with a Roku to allow guests to sign into their streaming services at the end of a fun day on the lake!

In the LIVING ROOM there is a provided "kids corner" with books and games to keep the little ones entertained. The living room also features a 65" 4k Roku TV and a 6 person sectional, perfect for watching movies or the game as a family!

The KITCHEN features a full refrigerator, an oven with a gas range, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, and is fully stocked with plates, bowls, silverware, cooking utensils and more! Complimentary ground coffee/coffee beans are provided as well.

On the DECK there is a 6 person table to enjoy meals at or play card games. There is also a brand new gas grill ready for the Grillmaster in your group with grilling utensils provided!

A REC ROOM space is provided in the shed on the property that features walls made from reclaimed wood and floors from an old local gymnasium. In addition to a pool/ping pong table, shuffleboard, and air hockey table, it also includes yard games such as cornhole!

In the YARD you can find a fire pit to gather around on a nice night as outdoor string lights illuminate the memories made by your family and friends sitting out by the fire or playing a game of cornhole!

Wonderful stay

Plenty of space in the house. The game room came in handy when it was raining. Alex was quick to answer all my questions. Even though it's by the road, you couldn't hear any traffic. Short walking distance to the bars and restaurant. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect spot for friends and family!

We couldn’t have been happier at the cottage! It was the perfect spot for family and friends to make some new memories. The game room was fun for kids and adults and due to some rainy weather we got good use of it! We will book this again in the future.

Great Stay

Stayed here to go to the Vikings/Packer game. Easy 30 minute drive to the stadium from the property. House is well stocked. The game room didn't have any heat, so it was kind of chilly. But Alex said he's installing heat in there later this winter. Easy check in and out. Overall, a good stay.

All about fun

We have a friends reunion every year in different locations around the state. Nine of us stayed at the home in Cecil. It was very conveniently located next to the boat landing, walking distance to bars and restaurants, and an easy drive to Shawano for shopping and a quick trip to the brewery. The house was comfy with many different areas to entertain, including a game room! We sincerely enjoyed our stay.

Long Weekend - Great!

This is a super location if you want quick access to the lake/ beach/park in Shawano or activities in Green Bay area. If you are bringing a boat, ( which we unfortunately did not)- this is exactly where you want to be! The house is literally just yards from the boat launch to Lake Shawano! We spent our time letting the grandkids fish, a day at the beach, and a trip to Green Bay to the Bay Beach amusement park. This house was perfect to come back to at the end of the day to relax & watch the gorgeous sunset over the lake- plenty of beds, beautiful inside, 2 bathrooms ( very appreciated with 10 plus a toddler in our group)- and the kids loved the fully loaded gameroom ! They even set up the volleyball/badminton net in the yard. Huge deck & gas grill right off the kitchen was perfect. Very nice!

Family Vacation

Our entire extended family enjoyed our stay at this property in the village of Cecil. The house and furnishings are excellent inside and out. There was more than enough for our family to do during our stay.

Wonderful

The house was very nice! Lots of space, all kitchen supplies we could ask for! Alex was wonderful, helpful , prompt in messages and accommodating for us! The oven did take forever to heat up and air conditioner couldn't reach up stairs and sleeping became quiet hot.

Dad and kid trip

We took our kids here and spent a few days boating and rafting. Is conveniently located near boat launch and they do have a slip you can use if you bring your boat. The house was in good shape and everything we needed was there. Alex was very easy to communicate with. The separate building with games was a nice bonus.
