Spacious and Clean Once You Find It

Finding the room was difficult. The listing is called âOld Mills Resort,â but the property signage says âHidden Gem of Gruene.â This discrepancy wasnât mentioned in the instructions, which made arrival confusing. The property numbers were also not visible from the parking lots, and the building didnât match the photos shown in the listing. We tried texting and using the chat feature for help finding our room but never received a responseânot even the following day.Once inside, the room itself was very clean, neat, and spacious. It was properly stocked and matched the written description. The plastic mattress covers were a bit uncomfortable and trapped heat, which affected sleep. The couch felt a little low-quality, though I understand it may need frequent replacement during peak seasons. I was also wondering what happened to the living room rug shown in the listing photos, as it wasnât there during our stay.With clearer instructions, accurate photos, and better communication, this could be a much smoother experience.
