Welcome to your beautifully renovated 1940s historic home in Winchester, Tennessee, just 5 minutes from Tims Ford Lake. This spacious 4-bedroom, 3-bath vacation home comfortably sleeps 8. Guests will appreciate fast Wi-Fi, a Roku Smart TV, and large comfortable bedrooms. Perfect for:
• Family vacations and reunions
• Boating and fishing trips at Tims Ford Lake
• Couples or friends’ weekend getaways
• Exploring historic Winchester
• Quiet countryside retreats with beautiful sunrises and sunsets



We live about an hour away, checking in will be done via a code. We always strive to be available for messages/calls when our guests need us. We also have someone on-staff monitoring messages throughout normal business hours.

You're less than 10 minutes from Tims Ford Lake, just 3 miles from Twins Creek Marina, and only 10 miles to Tims Ford Marina.

Explore nearby hiking trails, waterfalls, and nature spots.

Spend the day at the University of the South, stroll the charming streets of Downtown Winchester (only 1 mile away) where you can shop or grab food (try Lupitas... it's our favorite!) , or tour the iconic Jack Daniel’s Distillery—all within easy reach.

Property is on a convenient and visible road. 

The closest grocery store is Walmart which is about a 10 minute drive. 

There may be some street noise, but the property does sit far off the street and we provide sound machines for every bedroom for your enjoyment/comfort.

You have access to the entire house except for a closet downstairs for the house cleaners and the detached garage and shop.

It's about a 1-mile walk to the square, but it is a busy road so please keep that in mind. This is a small town so ubers are likely not available. A car is highly recommended!

It was spacious and great for a family event. It really just needed a better cleaning job between guests or maybe it sat empty awhile. We had to wash sheets and towels before we used. Other than that it was very nice.

Cute little farmhouse close to the lake. Very clean and nicely remodeled. Just a few minutes drive to the lake and Twin Creeks Marina. Would definitely stay here again.

Thank You for having us, we had a great time on our short Mini Vacation. We are from Asheville and Swannanoa that just got hit hard from Helene...so it was nice to have a break from no water etc. We will definitely be back, the house had lots of room for us. Thx The Clarks

Cozy beautiful farmhouse

This was our second time in Winchester and we had such a great time and a great stay. It’s such a charming town and great old movie theatre and coffee houses. We had our two dogs and the farmhouse was beautifully renovated with modern amenities and design. Tons of room. My fiancé loved it as well. We would most definitely stay again and a great host.

This place was very well equipped with anything you’d need for a vacation rental. I felt the kitchen was equipped better than any other rental I’ve stayed in. Very nice coffee bar. Everything you need in a home away from home. Very nice yard as we had 2 small dogs with us. Plenty of parking. Location was very convenient to everything. Host was very quick to respond. We will definitely rent again for our next trip to Winchester!

Winchester, TN - Great location and lots of room

A group of Sewanee graduates got together for events on campus as well as activities in the area. The home is conveniently located to everything planned. The ample number of bedrooms and bathrooms gave all of us plenty of privacy. The property owners were responsive within minutes when a question was submitted. Will personally seek out this property again and recommend it to others needing a nice and casual accommodations.

Fun Farmhouse

Adult couple with my parents and two adult kids. We had so much fun. Farmhouse is super clean and modernized. 65” tv in living room with sectional. 3 bathrooms. Huge kitchen with 4 barstool seating and 6 person dining ro table, perfect for us. 2 porches and a deck. Great time in Winchester.

Great location close to town but....

Great location close to town and nicely renovated but... There was mouse poop on the countertop when we got there, leftover coffee in the coffee pot and quite a bit of lady bugs. There also was just a lack of basic amenities which we would have expected including coffee, creamer etc. Cleanliness is #1 for me so really that made the overall experience not so great.

Be of your word

I told Tin roof I would not make a comment but they failed on their word. Tin roof assured me that they would refund me of half my stay. Tried to email to follow up and they are non responsive. The house had clusters of lady bugs in the bathrooms. Bed sheets was infiltrated with dead bugs in one of the rooms. Low pressure toilet system you could only pee if you do the alternative toilet clogged. Vbro this will be my first and last time doing this.

Randy S. Very close to Winchester and nicer than my wife and I expected! Large spacious rooms and was comfortable when local family stopped by to visit. Large kitchen, with island, and modern appliances, including a dish washer, microwave, coffee maker. Front loading washer and dryer, also on the main level. Nice clean bathrooms with updated touches, including the vanity in the on suite bedroom, that my wife and I noticed while we enjoyed this room. Our other 3 family members each had their own room. Our grandson really enjoyed his upstairs bedroom. Plenty of channels, programs and movies, to choose from on the large flat screen tv. Easy check in, check out and communication with owner if needed. We will be returning to the area in the future and this will be our First choice for staying!
