We had a wonderful visit to the UP and the Harbor House provided a really great space for our large group. Communication with the host, Maddy, was excellent. It's been a terrible mosquito season up there and unfortunately there were a lot of mosquitoes in the house. We were able to figure out that most of the moquitoes seemed to be coming in through the newly installed window AC unit vents and once those were blocked the number of mosquitoes drastically decreased. We let Maddy know what was going on and she was responsive and kind and even provided us with a bit of a refund for our troubles. Aside from the mosquitoes, it was a great stay and we'd recommend the property!

Girls trip away

Booking and check in were easy. The house was the perfect size for our group of 5. The house was clean, water was hot and it was a great location. Walking distance to the beach and to town. I would stay here again.

Great location

Grand Marais is a great location for access to Painted Rocks and rock hunting. Northern Lights over Lake Superior were a bonus!

Beautiful getaway!

We were first time Vrbo users so we weren’t sure what to expect but this location and house was terrific. The house was in a great location and more than enough space for our family. We would definitely recommend and stay again. We have been coming to grand Marais for years and this will be our spot from now on!

Good stay and well maintained place

We enjoyed the stay. Place was neat and tidy and is as advertised. Cannot expect more. There was some confusion about cleanliness when we left the place but was resolved thanks to Maddy the owner for being thorough in checking again.

The house was perfect for our group of 6. Could have fit at least 12. The house had everything we could have needed and more. We were there for side by side riding. Plenty of room to park three trucks with trailers.

Very accommodating host, modest but spacious house, good but not fantastic location near the bay but without a good bay view. Really easy check in and check out process. Village is very quaint and picturesque throwback to decades past.

Excellent Stay

We stayed at this property for three days and two nights, and it was an excellent experience. The property was very neat and clean, and the check-in process was incredibly simple. The owner provided the access code two days before our stay, making everything smooth and hassle-free. Overall, it was an outstanding experience.

Northern Vacation

Nice house with 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Great location for picture rocks hiking and site-seeing. Only minor issue was no dishwasher.
