Return trip

We stayed in this camper on Labor Day weekend 2023 and 2022. And a year later its still clean and like new inside and very well taken care of. Its just like you see in the pics except for they now have a nice patio across the front of the camper. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean comfortable camper

Beautiful spot on the lake with boat slip and restaurant on site. Clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything needed for a memorable stay. The outside area is equipped with outdoor furniture and grill to enjoy meals overlooking Lake Barkley. I highly recommend!

Bring your boat

What a great experience. The camper was very clean and in like new condition. The kitchen seemed to be stocked with everything to prepare a meal. However we chose to eat at the restaurant on site. We did use the nice charcoal grill that is provided and it's big enough to cook for a family. Sitting outside under the awning you have a nice view of the marina and the lake with plenty of seating available. The campground itself is very small and the people staying there were very friendly. Bring your boat and rent a covered boat slip from Moonriver. It's very affordable. If you forget something at home there are stores just a few minutes away. Other than that once you get there you have no reason to even need a vehicle until it's time to go home.

On the lake at Lake Barkley.

The owner was awesome and was able to answer any questions I had. Very attentive in replying if there was a question. The camper was amazingly clean and ready to go. It sits less than 100 yards from the lake. Moon River Restaurant had some pretty good food and was a nice atmosphere. Live music on Friday and Saturday just 100 ft away. You could sit right outside the camper and listen to the music until 11pm and enjoy the evening. My son and I plan on using this rental again. We were supposed to be on a cruise but due to sports was unable and we decided to do a man’s weekend at the lake. We loved it.

It was a great trip. The camper was great. Location was great. The camper was brand new and super clean. Couldn’t have asked for better!

Brand new camper

We had a good time at this camper. There were 10-15 other campers at this site. There were not too many and there is a restaurant on location too which is a plus. The restaurant had live music Friday and Saturday night. All the neighbors were friendly. The camper is brand new and had plenty of things for the kids to do (TV, DVD player, movies, games, fire pit, and corn hole). We got a slip for the weekend to andnit was super convenient. We hope to come back for the 4th.
