Block to Beach! Fossil Hunting, Hot Tub, Coffee Bar, Screened Deck, 1hr to DC

Relax at this renovated cottage with views of the Chesapeake Bay! Features large screened in deck, hot tub, around corner from private community beach (and 4 min drive to larger community beach). There are two bedrooms (queen bed & two twin beds), one full bath, one half bath, full kitchen stocked with essentials, private laundry on site, gas bbq, fully stocked coffee bar (Keurig and standard drip maker), outdoor seating and fire pit! Favorite local spots include Running Hare Winery, fossil hunting at Calvert Cliffs, Chesapeake Beach Water Park, and plenty of on the water dining! Please let me know if you need to use the portable crib during your stay so our staff can set it up prior to your arrival.
(We have two security cameras. One camera is on the north side of the house facing the driveway and street. One is on the south side of the house facing the trash can and street. These record 24/7. If you would like to see the exact view I can send screenshots.)

Both beaches require parking pass in peak season. Lost parking pass will incur $25 replacement fee.
Do not use fireplace it is not functioning. Do not go underneath or behind screened deck there is a steep drop. Bushes serve as barrier.
Please notify us as soon as possible if you notice something is not working/broken so we can work to replace/fix it.

We've stayed at a bunch of VRBO's over the last 10 years and this was one of our favorites. House was clean and had everything needed. We especially loved the screened in porch. The beaches nearby was great and we found so many shark's tooth fossils.

Very nice location in a quiet neighborhood. Not much traffic and walk to a small beach. Had everything we needed for a good stay and to cook some meals. One issue which really nothing could be done for was the constant drone of the neighbors ac units. It made enjoying the porch difficult and it was a lovely screened in porch. Very close to Calvert cliffs fossil hunting locations. Would rent again.

Great Home Base

The house was very clean and located in a pretty amazing area, with easy access in and out. All of the standard amenities were available in the house, as well as extras like board games, good coffee (k cups grounds!) and a small stool in the bathroom for the kids. It was a really great stay, highly recommended.

Cozy and Clean

It was very clean and not cluttered. I felt it had all the essentials, however, lacked closet space in the bed-rooms. Definitely would stay there again.

Chesapeake getaway

What a wonderful bungalow! Convenient location for Calvert Cliffs hiking, Cove Point lighthouse, PAX Naval Air Museum and Calvert Marine Museum. We really enjoyed the screened porch for relaxing and our meals. Special treat with the coffee bar. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed.

Family vacation

Family of 5 with little kids and infant making core memories! This was such a great trip! LOVED the access to the private beaches and the house was very clean and quiet. Location was great!! Walking distance to the short beach was nice and easy for our kids too! We are definitely coming back. Thank you!

Wonderful winter stay

We loved this property! Walk to the little local beach and a short drive to parks, larger beaches and museums. Kelsey is a great host and the house was perfect for us and the kids. Would book again.

Relaxing and Quiet

We loved this location. The accomodations are incredible, the beds were comfortable (even the sleeper sofa and how often can you say that?) and you can't hear the hot tub. The owner was kind and courteous. I really hope to stay here again.

A wonderful getaway!

Thank you Kelcey! Very simple check-in/out process. The house is so nicely furnished, updated finishings, comfortable beds. Short walk to a beautiful, quiet beach where kids can collect shells and rocks and all can swim. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Cottage with Great Beach Access

We enjoyed the lovely furnishings and well appointed kitchen and bathrooms. The screen porch and hot tub were both amazing features! Easy access to a small community beach, 3 minute drivable access to a larger, wide, walk-forever bay beach for which Kelcey provided a parking pass. Everything was perfect!
