You will love this peaceful escape just steps from the beautiful Chesapeake Bay and Calvert Cliffs. Beaches, fossil hunting, bars, restaurants, lighthouses, marina's and Solomon's Island. Lots of nature parks, state park and a nearby mini waterpark or golf. Solomon's Island host many concerts throughout the spring and summer. Lots to see and do.

We enjoyed our stay at this home. We really appreciated the close proximity to Calvert Cliffs State Park and Solomon's Island (15 min from each). We also enjoyed having access to a public beach from which we watched sunset just 5 min from the house. The home was well appointed, clean and comfortable.

We had the perfect stay in this quiet, shaded home with our twin kiddos. Plenty of space, comfortable beds, a stocked kitchen (important for food allergy parents when traveling!), books and games, a desk in a loft area for working, and morning and evening visits from the local deer. Our host was super responsive whenever we reached out. We didn't make it to the beaches due to weather, but hope to stay again for our family's annual crab fest in the Solomons again next year :) Thank you!

Beautiful setting just a short drive from two small beaches. Great areas to explore. Comfortable, spacious and relaxing. Had a great weekend and would definitely go back and spend more time there .

The house was clean, well stocked and very comfortable for our family. We had plenty of room to spread out and all the beds were great. The location was gorgeous. We enjoyed our coffee on the wraparound porch each morning.

Family Memories To Cherish for a Life Time

The cottage was perfect for my family of four and being so close to several beaches was so nice. Sara is a wonderful host. Great location to explore the bay.

House was as described. Includes access to two private beaches, which is a must in this area. Kids came for sharks teeth and did not leave disappointed.

This house was built as a vacation home by my parents in 1994. We live in nearby Harford County and spent practically every 4th of July week down So. Maryland with lots of extended family. This house holds lots of memories from our oldest sons 1st birthday party, now 26 years old, good grief, to fireworks on the Island, volleyball at the lake and looking for sharks teeth on the beach. Some of us were better than others. My mom seemed to have an eye for that. I don't believe my husband has ever found one himself lol. We always enjoyed having extended family at the house, especially the ones from out of state because they always wanted to eat crabs on the deck. We even tried catching some ourselves a couple of times. Of course, we'd never catch enough to eat. The kids use to love the 11:00 pm Taco Bell and Walmart trips after a long day of sitting and swimming at the lake, then selling flags and glow sticks at the community entrance then heading off to watch fireworks.
Remember The Titans became a family tradition, we never got tired of watching it. The Oriole game was always on in the background and Scrabble and Taboo were 2 of our favorite games.
Well now the time has come for our parents to move on to a vacation home in Florida. The memories we created for 25 years was about to be sold to the highest bidder. My husband and I always thought our kids would be creating memories with their kids for the next 25 years and we couldn't bare to see the house sold. So we offered to buy the house from our parents in hopes that our families, and now yours will continue to build those memories for years to come. Please come stay at our newly aquired peaceful getaway and see all that Calvery Cliffs and Lusby Md have to offer.
We are only 2 hours away and available if you have any issues with your stay. We truly want your time at our house to be as enjoyable to you as it has been to us.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

We are so close to Solomon's Island and all that it has to offer. Fishing, boating, shopping, dining and nightlife. The Tiki Bar is such a fun place to hang out and have drinks. Calvert Marine Museum on the island hosts many concerts throughout the year. Owner access to the communities private beaches. Hang tag is available in the welcome binder and must be returned prior to leaving the property.
