The overall stay was great! Our hosts were great at communicating expectations and checking-in/out instructions. The VRBO pictures were accurate to the location, and it was a great stay for my friends and I.

Great apartment

Clean, well-appointed apartment with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Near highway to get over to Omaha, so great for guests needing to do business across the river.

Clean place to rest

Great location walking distance to the bridge and activities for the whole family. Great Thai restaurant nearby. The place was very clean and cozy decorated. We were with 6 people including two kids and there was a queen air mattress we put in the living room.

Nicely updated

Apartment was nicely updated. Was close to everything we wanted access to. Beds were not comfortable and off street parking was next to impossible in the evening so we had to park in the street which was very narrow. Overall we’d stay again.

Nice Place but bad smell

The location and look of the place was nice but there was an awful smell that was in the carpet. We had to go to the store to get air fresheners and carpet fresh in order to stay there for the night. There was efficient communication from the owner, but nothing could have prepared us for that smell. The owner stated the smell would be taken care of so the next person booking should be fine.

Thank you for your feedback. We take cleanliness and guest experience very seriously, which is why we were surprised by your comment regarding a carpet smell. We’ve checked the unit thoroughly, and neither our team, our professional cleaners, nor any recent guests have noticed any odors. Additionally, there was no evidence of air fresheners or attempts to mask any smells. It’s possible this may have been a mix-up with another property. That said, we’ll continue monitoring the space closely to ensure it remains comfortable for all guests.

One Night in Council Bluffs

Our family of 6 did a quick one night stay in the Omaha area as were traveling through. This unit is the upstairs of a split level duplex. It has had a recent facelift and was very clean. The floors were VERY squeaky. We could hear the people downstairs even though they weren’t being loud, and I am sure my kids and normal walking was loud for them. Parking and access to the apartment is easy in the back of the unit. We enjoyed a walk over to the river and down to the pedestrian bridge over the river to Omaha. The neighborhood was a little sketchy. As we drove in and got closer I was a little hesitant about where we were going. For a quick one night it was fine, but not sure I would want to stay for a longer period.
